You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You get +1 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
- Naturally Resistant: Any time you make a Mind resistance roll, the individual who you are resisting must Exert their Mind, or your resistance succeeds automatically.
- Clash Of Wills: If you fail to fully resist an Effect, your Outcome is considered to be 0.
- These bonuses apply only to Mind rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to Trauma rolls or self-control rolls.

OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.

- Reveal Yourself To Me: If you succeed on a Mind resistance roll, you understand who was targeting you and what the intended effect was.
- These bonuses apply only to Mind rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to Trauma rolls or self-control rolls.

It has seen his victories, failures, promises, fears and in turn desired to not just be a tool for solely combat. So, projecting some of its latent energy, it is able to shield his mind from attack as well as his body. It is a bond between two beings that wish to see each other stand tall in front of every threat.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You get +2 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
- Been There, Done That: If you succeed a Mind resistance roll, subsequent attempts to use that same Gift or supernatural ability on you for the next day will fail.
- Force of Will: You may Exert your Mind to increase the Outcome of a Mind resistance roll by 2.
- These bonuses apply only to Mind rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to Trauma rolls or self-control rolls.
Pit of a Mind
Kitty's soul is almost nonexistent in the Ephemera, swallowing up supernatural energy, making, zem resistant to mental attacks.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You get +4 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
- Been There, Done That: If you succeed a Mind resistance roll, subsequent attempts to use that same Gift or supernatural ability on you for the next day will fail.
- Instant Karma: If you successfully resist an Effect with your Mind, you may reflect it back to another target as though you had cast it.
- Naturally Resistant: Any time you make a Mind resistance roll, the individual who you are resisting must Exert their Mind, or your resistance succeeds automatically.
- Clash Of Wills: If you fail to fully resist an Effect, your Outcome is considered to be 0.
- When reflecting an Effect, its Activation Outcome is equal to your resistance Outcome. If you reflect it back at the target who cast it originally, they do not receive a resistance roll.
- These bonuses apply only to Mind rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to Trauma rolls or self-control rolls.
Fortitude in the Flames

The Ashen One's ability to defend more than just their body is aided by the comfort of their shield and stoic solitude.
You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using a Shield to gain the benefits of this Effect.
You get +2 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
- Been There, Done That: If you succeed a Mind resistance roll, subsequent attempts to use that same Gift or supernatural ability on you for the next day will fail.
- Compartmentalizing: You can take a maximum of 1 Mind Damage per Round.
- If you have an Effect that allows you to Exert your Mind more than once per Round, each Exertion still causes one Mind Damage.
- These bonuses apply only to Mind rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to Trauma rolls or self-control rolls.
Sub-Processing Matrix
Kanni is not just one intelligence managing every part of her chassis, that is inefficient, and can lead to complications, as such she was built with a matrix of sub-processors, allowing her to focus on the task at hand while many dimunitive AI's operate in the background.
While it was not built to directly fight against any attacks that affect Kanni's coding, it appears that they serve as bait, hopefully preventing Kanni from being affected by such attacks.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You get +0 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
- Been There, Done That: If you succeed a Mind resistance roll, subsequent attempts to use that same Gift or supernatural ability on you for the next day will fail.
- Force of Will: You may Exert your Mind to increase the Outcome of a Mind resistance roll by 2.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Simulated Empathy.
