Grace holds an apple (likely bruised and a little old) in her hands and focuses on good memories. With help from the Dead Kid Tea Party, the potency of the memories imbues the apple with a healing effect that reminds the target of whatever place feels like home to them. The fruit crackles as its composition changes, glowing Obedience’s ghostly blue from inside. The glow follows the bites of apple as they move from the target’s throat, to chest, to stomach.
“Happy thoughts, huh? Good on you, kiddo.”
The apples started when Grace became homesick in England. Missing Jersey and her old hidey holes, and farther back, her bedroom… blanket caves were always her favorite. Before she was able to recreate that with Chamael’s help, her desperation gave her a fix.
Grace made the realization that allowing her mind to wander off to bitter and bad memories changes the apple to be just as bitter, soaked in cyanide. She's on guard about it now, and is considering possibilities...
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up apple in order to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
If your Outcome is greater than the Severity of the Injury you were attempting to treat, you may apply any excess Outcome to other Injuries on the same patient.
Grace focuses her energy towards pulling someone into that pathway. If successful, the target’s vision will flutter in and out between their real-world view and being flat on their back, laid out on a table surrounded by cakes and tea sets in a desaturated forest clearing. The Dead Kid Tea Party stares down at them with hollow, prying eyes: Grace, Obedience, Sally, Horatio, and Hope staring into the grey area between your body and your consciousness, and reading.
The pathway to Grace’s mind for other souls is wide open. In the past, visitors have been relatively invited, but as Grace becomes willing to do more… what's keeping her from yanking someone in through the door?
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living, Animate target within 20 feet You must maintain Concentration while the effect is active. Roll Intellect + Influence at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
You are able to view your target's memories. The target is aware that their thoughts are being probed but not of the source of the probe. The Effect ends if the target moves out of range or your Concentration is interrupted.
You may ask specific questions about their memory - “what is their computer password,” “What were they doing at 4:00PM yesterday,” etc - but you cannot get answers to broad, analytical questions like “are they a good person?” or “what are their plans for the future?”
Each question takes as long as it takes to answer to read. When replaying a full memory, it is replayed in double time.
Bryan rapidly folds the paper along his form, creasing it until it folds into himself. He then merges into a silhouette of paper, maintaining the general shape and structure of his body while being visually constructed from a multitude of paper sheets. The process of splitting his mind across a multitude of sheets has the potential to damage his psyche in the process.
With Bryan reaching new levels of power, he has not only begun to develop through his mind and skills, but body as well. As such, he's now starting to gain abilities that can change his physiology. Basically looks like that one girl in the Akatsuki from Naruto (Konan).
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up folding paper in order to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
You transform into a silhouette of paper sheets for the next hour. You may end the effect early and return to your normal form at will. Your structure must remain relatively contiguous. Observers will view you as an unusual entity moving with a singular purpose.
While in this form, you can squeeze through any gap that is not water-tight.
Damage from standard attacks is halved, but Damage from AOE effects is increased by 1.
You cannot communicate while transformed. Your equipment does not transform with you beyond basic body coverings. Carrying capacity is unaffected.
You have access to your Powers while transformed.
You may use equipment while transformed.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Made From Paper: You are vulnerable to fire while transformed. While in your Amorphous Transformation, the Severity of any Injury caused by fire is increased by 2.
The fist of their legacy that his brother rejected, fool that he is.
Wolfgang has embraced the darkness of their heritage, and rather than flee to the martial arts of the normal world he has studied it, embraced it, and under the tutelage of his master he ascended beyond any holder of the art, and in doing so. Killed his master and the entire dojo that he had learned the art in, ensuring that no other would ever rise from its ranks to challenge him again.
Afterward he was approached by a strange man wreathed in shadow, who offered him a simple deal. Accept the darkness within himself and nurture it even further, this, he did readily. The darkness coursed through his veins and in doing so his skin was darkened and his eyes turned blood red in recognition of his demonic power, but. The man told him there could be more. All he had to do was prove that he was indeed superior to his brothers way of thinking, though with Fonzie T. Buck dead a new challenger had to be arranged.
Lucas Steel, master of the fist of the gentle wave. Defeat him, and he would have truly risen to become the greatest martial artist.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat. You must actively and obviously be using Combat Gloves to gain the benefits of this Effect.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +2 Bonus Damage Weapon Damage (instead of -1). The target's Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Never refuse a challenge: Roll mind at difficulty 8 to decline any direct invitation to fight..
You also gain the following effects:
True to their namesake, the hacker can penetrate the security of any computer system, granting access to its informational stores, or, in a pinch, allowing them to issue commands. The hacked system will display a flickering image of a ghost until it is dismissed.
While hacking, The Technician's fingers move with supernatural speed, blurring like a ghost.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Computer within arm's reach. Does not work on Alien technology. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.
If your command does not require bypassing the security of the target (for example, typing on a computer that is unlocked), you do not need to Exert your Mind to activate this Effect, and activation only takes a single Action.
Your Hack cannot be reversed through mundane means for a number of hours equal to your Outcome.
Every hack you make leaves behind a flickering image of a ghost in the system as a personal "calling card" that informs anyone who uses the system that the hack occurred.
Big B takes out a USD and places it into his palm, as he focuses it comes to life folding its self in half. he speaks into it and places it into his pocket, where the recipient will notice the flapping money in there own pocket or surrounding area. the Benjamin will then communicate while flapping its wings like a bird through the picture of Benjamin, the recipient can choice to do the same.

You open up a line of communication to your targets, and may converse with them as long as one of you maintains Concentration
The conversation may be intercepted while in transit, and may be overheard, read, or otherwise understood by anyone near either you or the recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
The psychic can reach into another's' mind and pilfer their deepest memories. Doing so causes the psychic's nose to bleed and is exceptionally draining.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living, Animate target within 20 feet You must maintain Concentration while the effect is active. Roll Intellect + Investigation at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
You are able to view your target's memories. The target is aware that their thoughts are being probed but not of the source of the probe. The Effect ends if the target moves out of range or your Concentration is interrupted.

Each question takes as long as it takes to answer to read. When replaying a full memory, it is replayed in double time.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is your nose bleeding. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
The aquamancer dissolves into a flowing pool of semi-solid water. Anything they were carrying is left behind in a damp pile. While transformed, they may squeeze through tiny gaps, and are extremely resilient against most standard attacks.
Resolidifying is exhausting.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You transform into a flowing pool of water for the next minute. You may end the effect early and return to your normal form at will. Your structure must remain relatively contiguous. Observers will view you as an unusual entity moving with a singular purpose.

The Vampire may channel their inner beast and take the form of an animal. It is said they may transform into either a wolf or a bat. If used too often, the Vampire risks losing themselves to their beast forever.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
You transform into a vampire bat or a wolf until you transform into something else or choose to return to your original form. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you do not have access to any of your Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: A disfigured face with bat-like ears.
The Witch summons a crow, whispers a message to it, and sends it off to deliver her words. Half an hour later, the crow arrives at the recipient and repeats her message aloud in its croaking, animal voice.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be as complex or as large as you like. It takes at least 30 minutes before it is received.
The message may be intercepted while in transit, and may be overheard, read, or otherwise understood by anyone near either you or the recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The mobster presents a reasoned, logical case to the target: there's a lot of dangerous folks out there, and only they can offer safety... for a price.
If they agree, they will pay the mobster a monthly fee for protection. If they stop making their payments... well, let's just say, the mobster can't be held responsible for any unsavory types that might pay them a visit.
This Effect cannot be used unless you are making a deal to exchange money for protection.
You may make an oath with a physically-present, Sapient target. Communicate the oath's terms to the target, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must shake hands to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The target cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the target, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
