You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Akashic Record.

Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Remarkably Self-Aware: You may roll Intellect at Difficulty 7 to “scan” yourself for abnormalities; any outside influences on your thoughts/mind will be detected, as well as Traumas, etc. If your Outcome is 3 or higher, you may Exert your Mind to cancel the effect.

  • If your Akashic Record is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

Community Mythic Intellect Gifts

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your kukulcan tattoo.

Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Multithreaded: Instead of being unable to take Actions while maintaining Concentration, you may now take Actions at a -2 dice penalty. You may maintain Concentration from two different Effects, but you are unable to take Actions when doing so.

  • Being Injured or interrupted in some way can still break your Concentration.
  • If your kukulcan tattoo is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

On knowledge:
Koriol has come to learn some damning information of those around him, and it's all starting to come together. The further he goes on this path, the more he realizes this is just the beginning. He's about to make enemies - here's to hoping that merely knowing will be enough to keep him alive.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Hindsight: Whenever you realize you could have done something to prevent a friend from getting hurt, roll Self-Control to avoid blaming yourself and running away to separate yourself from them. You may exert your mind to overcome this.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Never Forget: You have a perfect photographic memory, and can recall or recreate even complex and detailed things. If you forget something you had previously seen or noticed, you may ask the GM and they will remind you.
  • Quick Thinking: Any Intellect rolls other than Power activations are made as Free Actions. You get +2 dice to all Initiative rolls.
  • Wait For Your Moment: You may take your Action on the turn of anyone who has a lower Initiative than you. If you do, you receive +2 dice to that roll.
  • Insufferable Know-It-All: Any social rolls you make are at +1 Difficulty, and if someone else can answer an informational question or solve a puzzle before you do, make a Trauma roll. The Difficulty of this Trauma roll cannot be reduced by any means.

  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
