The Henna marking unfolds from underneath the bracelet, crawling across the skin to form matching patterns on both the prospective client & the wielder of R.I.S.H.I. - this process is not fast, & is easy to avoid should someone wish to do so.
The quantum connection provided by the Ferro Fluid marking transmits telemetry including vitals, distance & direction.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action to activate. Select a target within arm's reach. The target may Resist.
Your target is marked with a Henna marking until it is removed or until you choose to end the Effect. Your mark can be discovered if the target is inspected visually. Removal inflicts a Severity 1 Injury on the target.
You are aware of the marked target's vital status, injuries, direction and distance from you. You can have up to 3 marks active.
You may use any Awareness Powers on a marked target at any range.
You receive +2 dice to any rolls made against a marked target.
Your Marked targets are all similarly aware of your direction and distance from them while the Mark is active.
Carter has learned how to empower contracts with his written word.
You may make an oath with any number of physically-present, Sapient targets. Communicate the oath's terms to the targets, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and all participants must sign thier names with the qill to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The targets cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the targets, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
When crafting your oath, you may opt to enforce compliance. If you do, any participant that wishes to break the deal must take 3 Mind damage and succeed a Self-Control roll. They may attempt once per day.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
A fancy upgrade to Wally's old vest. This one covers Wallys chest and features a sturdy drag bar. Studs along the sides provide protection, and short spikes around the neck give a nasty poke to anyone trying to get too close. The side bags are emblazoned with large block lettering that says 'WALLY' and 'SERVICE ANIMAL. DO NOT PET'
Wally's background in artifact smuggling is coming back to them as they succeed in contracts. As they gather more and more of their memories, they're able to better remember some of the tricks they picked up before they were a dog. Like fancy protective wards.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You have 4 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. Called Shots may circumvent your Armor, depending on its coverage.
Any Injury received from Damage that was reduced by this Armor is considered makeshift stabilized and will not degrade further. Any Battle Scar received from such an Injury is reduced by 1 level to a minimum of a Minor Battle Scar.
When you take Damage from a source which is within 5 feet, deal back as much Damage as your Armor prevented.
Exert your Mind, spend one minute, and select a specific place, person, or item within arm’s reach. Select a Dead target within arm's reach with at least half its skeletal structure remaining. This Effect cannot be used unless on a dark environment and you must have a personal item that the dead target had in life. You must use up Black Obsidian in order to activate this Effect.
Your target rises as an Animate being which is ghostlike and incorporeal, unable to physically interact with the real world, though they may pass through walls and make noise. They remember their past life and retain their same personality. They can communicate as they would have been able to in life. They may roll Mind, Difficulty 8, to resist any commands you give them.
The creature lasts until it strays at least 80 feet from the chosen place, person, or item or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Attributes are all the same as they were in life. Raised creatures have access to any Effects they had in life.
Your risen ghost may "rest" inside the object, location, or person they are bound to and emerge whenever they wish.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
Less so a firearm and more so a light artillery piece. Its muzzle blast is a dazzlingly bright explosion, lobbing a sizable chunk of metal at modest velocity. This brick of a hand cannon is twice as big as a contemporary handgun, and just as loud. Hearing protection and a suppressor recommended!
This gun is, quite literally, out of this world, whether that means of alien, time-travel, or inter-dimensional means. The bottomless magazine mechanism listed is arcane in nature, and the firearm feeds hulking wildcat .45 caliber cartridges. The gun is sealed (minus the ejection port and barrel) and self-cleaning.
A journal entry about the gun, written by an unknown blacksmith, and scrawled in an unknown language, notes the following improvements to the base design:
"Hellfire" portal technology for self-reloading magazine and self-cleaning mechanism. Ketsteel alloy construction for reduced weight at virtually no cost to durability. Prototype self-guided munitions (mimicking Myrrh Sov's harmonic stone core earthromancy-guiding munitions). An ergonomic grip (to replace the original design's horrid one). Cleaner sight picture. Threaded barrel to accept barrel accessories (the gods know it needs one). Expanded trigger guard to allow use of gloves.

This Artifact can be used as a handgun. It is roughly at least twice as large as a handgun and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +6 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
You raise the bracelet up in front of yourself and run your fingers over the beads. Your body shimmers with a gentle blue discoloration, silently shifting your appearance to create a perfect illusion from head to toe.
Kayleigh Jones created this artifact from the depths of her soul in order to protect both her friends and herself from the curious eyes of the real world.
The nature of the illusion is such that even the sensation of her tails brushing against those around her is wiped from their minds, replaced with the memory of a perfectly normal human woman.
Spend 2 Actions. This Effect cannot be used unless you are out of sight from anyone else.
You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.
The new appearance must have a similar sex, age, and race to your own. You cannot significantly change your height and weight. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You may change the appearance of your outfit. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.
You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 1.
The Skeleton Key slips easily into any keyhole and turns without a fuss.
Spend an Action.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open any number of doors, containers, knots, or locks within arm's reach of you. Cannot be used on Alien technology.
If you successfully operate a lock, you may choose to destroy it, rendering it inoperable.
The spy can do up their passport to take on the appearance of any valid form of identification they may need.
This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a passport and just as difficult to conceal.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into an Object within the category of forms of identification. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
The Axe of Legend's blade has been imbued with the metal of the dark lord of rock and roll. It shreds chords and flesh. The rock god commanding it may recall it to their hand at will.
This Artifact can be used as a sword / axe. It is roughly the same size as a sword / axe and just as difficult to conceal.
Attack by rolling Brawn + Melee, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +4 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
Standard issue in the Future Soldier's home time, the Personal Shield Generator (PSG) projects a protective energy barrier around the body. It absorbs damage far better than traditional armor, but its battery is quickly drained. When depleted, the PSG must spend a few seconds recharging.
When struck, the normally-invisible field of the PSG flashes, revealing a bright yellow honey-comb pattern encasing the body.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You have 6 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.
Your Armor cannot be destroyed, and it always provides a minimum of 2 Armor regardless of any Armor shredding or penetration. It cannot be circumvented with Called Shots. When shredded, it returns to full potency in one hour.
Any time your Armor prevents Damage, your Armor rating is temporarily decreased by 2. Whenever it goes five Rounds without preventing any Damage, it is restored back to its full value.
The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when activated, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
