The ferro fluid contained within the R.I.S.H.I. infiltrates the body, creating a pre-programmed series of physical & neural augmentations.
Exert your Mind and spend eight hours to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
"Wevill takes a pendant off his chest and trows it.
The item quickly morphs itself into a wide boat,he hops in and speeds away from the pavement to sea as quickly as he arrived.
This Artifact can be used as a amphibian boat. It is roughly the same size as a amphibian boat but can be collapsed into an fish pendant and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
This amphibian boat has wide sized ,with track's on its sides along with a potent turbine on its back. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.
You also gain the following effects:
When the dagger is unsheathed, Wren's name appears on the nameplate next to her great grandmother's permanently carved name. Additionally, when the dagger is thrusted towards a target, the falcon at the top of the hilt's wings move from outstretched to tucked closer to the body, mimicking the hunting dive of a real-life peregrine falcon. Carvings also appear on the blade, showing a peregrine falcon diving through the air.
This Artifact can be used as a knife. It is roughly the same size as a knife and just as difficult to conceal.
Attack by rolling (Dexterity or Brawn) + (Melee or Brawl), Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
Raising the slice of pizza to his face in both hands in a particularly murine fashion, Luci gnaws his way through the strange edible necklace that he typically only nibbles at in order to survive.
Eventually finishing the slice after a minute, tentacles at once begin to sprout their way from under his shoulder-blades and coil around him in a fashion that has grown comforting as of late, growing in number until enwreathing him fully in an almost swaddling fashion — leaving only his serene and dozing expression visible.
When after quite some time he finally decides to leave his warm and familiar embrace, a half dozen cherubim swarm around the empty necklace, standing only 4 inches tall and adorned in old Roman garb as Lares reattach tiny globules of dough and sauce to the thread: one piece at a time by hand.
I left the face open on the cocoon since from a visual standpoint I pictured it as looking better and it also better explains being able to perceive his environment. Please do not blast him in the face with a flamethrower
(Cocoon stuff is probably normally done with transparent forcefield energy stuff, so just explain the face part as that if needed)
Original thought was for fairies to be rebuilding the pizza, but Contract fey would sooner kill and eat an unattended child than help him in any way, so based it on old Roman house spirits since he has Italian heritage and those are probably less evil
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You no longer require any food, water, or air in order to survive. You no longer age naturally, and supernatural attempts to age you fail. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement automatically succeeds.
You may spend one minute entering a state of hibernation, during which you are inanimate and unaffected by any requirements for life. You may still perceive the outside world and may spend 3 Rounds "waking up" to end it. While cocooned you can take a maximum of 1 Damage from any attack, and are impervious to environmental conditions.
The cloak's fabric shimmers with a protective aura, providing armor-like defense. When an enemy strikes Blake from close range, flames ripple out from the point of contact, racing along the attacker's weapon or body, scorching them with the reflected power of their own strike. If an attack manages to penetrate the cloak's defense, the fire of the Phoenix's embrace activates, closing and stabilizing the injury with a warm, golden glow. The flames flicker softly over the wound, sealing it and preventing it from worsening.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You have 3 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.
You may spend an Action or Reaction and Exert your Mind to double your Armor rating for one Round.
Your Armor cannot be destroyed, and it always provides a minimum of 2 Armor regardless of any Armor penetration. It cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.
Any Injury received from Damage that was reduced by this Armor is considered makeshift stabilized and will not degrade further. Any Battle Scar received from such an Injury is reduced by 1 level to a minimum of a Minor Battle Scar.
When you take Damage from a source which is within 5 feet, deal back as much Damage as your Armor prevented.
Any time your Armor prevents Damage, your Armor rating is temporarily decreased by 2. Whenever it goes five Rounds without preventing any Damage, it is restored back to its full value.
You may activate or deactivate your armor as a Free Action on your Initiative. As long as your armor is active, your movement speed is halved and you suffer -2 dice to all Dexterity and Perception rolls. While deactivated, it offers no Armor.
The Passenger rips forward out of the host's flesh, spraying the ground and anyone near with warm blood. It surges forward, carrying all of its malice and anger to pierce straight through any who stand before it. Though The Passenger itself is about a liter of crimson, the activation of this ability releases a torrent of blood that can be easily controlled and manipulated by its host. The dark red stays close to the host, not usually moving beyond five feet from the host, but the extra manifested blood can be controlled up to 30 feet away.
While the host remains competent and capable, The Passenger will behave, being as vicious or soft as its controller requires. It does not, however, tolerate failures, and when its host cannot meet its demands, it attempt to find another, more suitable host to augment.
The Passenger can be destroyed or stolen in a number of ways:
* Injecting the host with anticoagulants.
* Sucking it out of the part of the body that it inhabits.
* Severing the limb that it inhabits.
* Something able to grapple incorporeal creatures should be able to pull The Passenger out of its host.
* Once dead, The Passenger will burst out of the host's body to find a new host.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up 1 Liter of Blood in order to activate this Effect.
You gain an additional limb that functions as a standard human arm and hand. Lasts two hours.
Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Each additional appendage you have gives you +1 dice to make and resist Grapples (up to a maximum bonus of +4 dice).
Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.
Your extra appendage can be used to attack in exactly the same manner as a Thrusting Sword.
Your appendage is capable of bending and squishing in normally-impossible ways. It may fit through any gap that is not water-tight and retain its functionality.
Your extra appendage can stretch to reach an additional 30 feet.
You may turn this Effect on and off at will during its duration.
Your extra appendage is not connected to your nervous or circulatory systems, and you will not take damage if it is hit by an attack or destroyed.
Your appendage has its own agenda (to Find a Better Host), which it will attempt to follow. You must roll Self-Control to reassert control when this occurs. If this occurs during Combat, it gets its own dice pool, and stopping it costs your entire Action.
The spy can do up their passport to take on the appearance of any valid form of identification they may need.
This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a passport and just as difficult to conceal.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into an Object within the category of forms of identification. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
When Winter Fang's glittering string is drawn, an ice arrow crystalizes nocked and ready to fire. These ice arrows melt quickly after piercing their foes, leaving deadly wounds instead of evidence.
This Artifact can be used as a bow. It is roughly at least twice as large as a bow and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage. Attacks do not require a successful called shot to do damage.
You also gain the following effects:
The De-Neuralizer is a small silver device that can emanate a bright flash of light. Any being that looks into it with uncovered eyes has their most recent period of the their memory set into a highly over-writable state for a moment. While in this state, their memories may be overwritten at will.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location within within arm's reach. All Sapient targets within 20 feet are affected. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is looking directly into the device with uncovered eyes. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the most recent 1 hour from your target’s memory is either replaced with new memories or forgotten entirely. This is recorded as a Condition. The level of detail and completeness of the alteration depends on your Outcome. If you fail, the target realizes that you are attempting to alter their memories.
The period is chosen either by time (i.e. “last Friday night”) or by reference to a specific event (i.e. “when the murder occurred”).
The Skeleton Key slips easily into any keyhole and turns without a fuss.
Spend an Action.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open any number of doors, containers, knots, or locks within arm's reach of you. Cannot be used on Alien technology.
If you successfully operate a lock, you may choose to destroy it, rendering it inoperable.
If the Selkie's seal skin is worn close to the body, any contact with salt water will cause them to transform into a seal. While transformed, they have full access to their normal suite of Powers.
This Effect activates whenever you are submerged in salt water. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event.
You transform into small for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Targeted, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
