Gen-Wyld: Beyond Natural
On March 14, 2018, a little-known company named Gen-Wyld announced FDA approval for a groundbreaking procedure to enhance a patient’s primary and secondary sexual characteristics using gene therapy. The company was an overnight success.
Shortly thereafter, they introduced a suite of gene-altering body modification procedures that allowed patients to make dramatic aesthetic changes to their bodies by gene-splicing “non-human” anatomy. Those daring (and wealthy) enough can now add cuttlefish pigmentation to their skin, sport a pair of fox ears, and even add a functional tail. While rare, these so-called “modders” draw plenty of hate from conservative communities.
Thanks to their revolutionary procedures, Gen-Wyld is now a household name. Norman Carlson, Gen-Wyld’s chief evangelist, recently announced the company is in the trial phase for a groundbreaking treatment for diabetes.
Yet despite their success, a shroud of secrecy surrounds Gen-Wyld. Their no-patent policy obscures the secrets of their procedures from the public eye. Financial experts claim that Gen-Wyld is run less like a traditional business and more like an NGO with some specific, unknown objective.
Some claim that they will not stop until humanity has been reduced to monstrous slaves and that Gen-Wyld’s board of directors will install themselves as inhuman overlords of the new world order.
However, until the true secrets behind Gen-Wyld are discovered, the genetic biotech firm will continue to grow, develop, and progress its grand designs.

The user becomes a cold caricature of a person, emotions are birthed and killed based on their usefulness at any given moment as their inner apathy is masked by an outburst of emotion, emotions that are meant to confuse people and lull them into a sense of security. People talking to the user see the look and behavior of someone who looks like they have genuine affection and empathy, as if the person in front of them is trying their best to make them feel like the most important individual in the world.
Allena is, often times, a crass and spiteful individual. The biggest exception being when she's trying to get something out of someone at which point she becomes soft and kind, she knows too well how to appeal to people. She just often doesn't care enough to do so, to her the truth of the matter is is that she doesn't feel the same things people do, the joy, the love, the hate. To her it's a cold breeze passing by, this... apathy is also the cause of her shadow's manifestation, it is the emptiness in her heart given form. And now, Allena has filled that hole with fake feelings. Feelings that don't mean anything to her, yet she still uses them.

- Poker Face: You reveal only what you want to reveal. It is impossible to determine whether or not you are lying. You may roll Charisma + Performance to resist any investigative Effect that targets you. If you successfully resist, you determine the info they get.
- In rare cases, GMs may require you to make a roll to lie to particularly powerful beings.

- Liar Liar Pants on Fire: You have an intuitive understanding of whether or not someone believes what they are saying. You can always tell if someone is lying to you without making a roll, though you do not necessarily know what they are lying about.
- In rare cases, GMs may require you to make a roll to detect a lie from particularly powerful beings (trickster gods, etc).
- If your tattoo of a literal quote from the consitution is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

- A "social gathering" might include a birthday party, after-work drinks, a ski trip, or yoga in the park, among other things. It likely would not include a cult gathering to summon a demon, Congressional negotiations over a contentious bill, etc.
