This Artifact can be used as a sword / axe. It is roughly the same size as a sword / axe but can be collapsed into pen and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Attack by rolling Brawn + Melee, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +5 Weapon Damage. The target's Armor is reduced to 1/2, rounded up against this damage.
You also gain the following effects:
- Mjolnir: You may call your weapon back to your hand as a Quick Action if it is within 50 feet of you. Can only be used on melee weapon that you have wielded in the past hour.
- If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded.
- Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

The Nail
It has accompanied Ghost on their long journey. It will go a long way further.
The nail fits well in Ghost's tiny hands. When they successfully block a melee attack or strike in such a way that breaks an opponent's defense, the blade flashes white, like SOUL.
This Artifact can be used as a sword / axe. It is roughly the same size as a sword / axe and just as difficult to conceal.

You also gain the following effects:
- Blade Breaker: If you successfully Defend against a melee attack or if an opponent is unsuccessful at Defending against your melee attack, you may break your opponent's weapon.
- Virtuoso's Vessel: When using this Device for its primary purpose, you always roll a minimum of 8 dice. Excludes Effect activation rolls.

Bu Fang Chef Knife
A knife is a extension of a chef own arm
A knife that Bu Fang maintains carefully, a chef knife that while simple, has stuck with bu Fang since his old restaurant. It's nothing special, not from heritage, from some deep adventure, just from a stall that he bought from in his teen.
Yet it grew with him, witnessed his skills, his emotions and sweats, effort poured into the blade until it decided to repay him back his efforts, becoming a knife that is specifically from Bu Fang, by Bu fang, for Bu fang.

This Artifact can be used as a knife. It is roughly the same size as a knife and just as difficult to conceal.

Filo
"Why choose between the sword or the pen?" -Some nerd
When in compact state, Filo appears as an antiquated fountain pen, having engraved "La Pluma" across its body. After performing three consecutive twirls, the pen bursts with ink into a bastard sword, with "La Espada" engraved on the body.
"Really, I don't want it. Only talks in Spanish about books, and will beg, BEG for you to give him a puff of your cigarette. Belonged to some writing nerd. But it's loyal, and will help you keep any foes where you want them to. Use it how you will, and there's no returns if you get tired of it!"

This item is a living thing. When targeted, it counts as a Living Creature in addition to its other target types. If destroyed or abandoned for more than two days, it dies and becomes unusable.
You also gain the following effects:
- Blade Breaker: If you successfully Defend against a melee attack or if an opponent is unsuccessful at Defending against your melee attack, you may break your opponent's weapon.
- Mjolnir: You may call your weapon back to your hand as a Quick Action if it is within 50 feet of you. Can only be used on melee weapon that you have wielded in the past hour.
- Pin: If you Injure a target with an Attack, you may choose to leave your weapon. If you do, the target is “pinned” to that location until the weapon is removed. Removing the weapon increases the Severity of that Injury by 2.
- If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded. You cannot expand this Object as an attack.
- Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.
Black Blade
“A good sword can take you a long way”
This sword, imbued with black magiks, is capable of tending through foes like butter, both it’s design and the magiks that fuel it granting greater might than what a normal sword my grant.
This Artifact can be used as a sword / axe. It is roughly the same size as a sword / axe and just as difficult to conceal.
Attack by rolling Brawn + Melee, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +4 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
- Any Injury inflicted is considered Unstabilized no matter its Severity. The roll required to Stabilize it is treated as though it is a minimum of Severity 6. These wounds do not heal naturally, though Effects may still be used to heal them.
- Shredder: If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.
- Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.
The legendary Sword Rannira
A sword fitting of a King, named after the lady of the lake.
A longsword with a blade light blue like the reflection of moonlight on a lake. It’s guard looks as if it was made of pure gold. The hilt is the color of emerald with symbols and insignias that had their meaning long forgotten to time. The pommel seems to have been made out to the same material as the guard.
The tale of the sword tells ,that a king of older days sought out to create a weapon which would make him the most invincible warrior under the sun. He called upon a witch who told him to bring 10 bars of gold and 10 if the best emeralds at full moon to a mystical lake at the outskirts of the kingdom and that only a just king is worthy of holding such blade. The king brought the items there and as instructed put them in the water of the lake. He saw that the light of the moon hit the center of the lake , a women whose Beauty was not matched emerged from it with the legendary sword in hand.
The sword made the old king unstoppable he went against the wishes of the witch and started a crusade to accumulate as much land and power as he could. It was a time of the shedding of blood and the shedding of tears.
The blade was turned from its holy blue into a demonic red and the hunger for blood seemed to would have never ended. That’s why the son of the king sneaked into his chambers one night and used the forsaken sword to cut of the kings head.
The son returned the sword to the lady of the lake at full moon to wash off its sins. Once the water touched its blade, the red colour faded away and left behind the original blue colour. The lady inquired if he wanted it back but the new king knew that he was equally as unworthy as his father was to wield such divine weapon.
It was laying there barren until now!

- Lasersaber: Given time, you may demolish any object or wall. To destroy 1 cubic foot of material: spend 1 Action for material demolishable with a crowbar or sledgehammer, and 2 Actions for other materials (like steel).

The Axe of Legend's blade has been imbued with the metal of the dark lord of rock and roll. It shreds chords and flesh. The rock god commanding it may recall it to their hand at will.
