You also gain the following effects:
- Fancy Footwork: You may move your full Dash distance and attack in the same Round without penalty. You may also split your movement before and after your attack.
- Two Swords are better than One: If you are wielding two melee weapons, your Weapon Damage is increased by 1, and you receive +2 dice to any Clash. If you split your Outcome to attack two targets, any target you successfully hit takes the full Weapon Damage and full Bonus Damage.
- Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.

Greatsword Mastery
Coming from years of practice, Biggun has mastered the art of the Greatsword, capable of using his own weight to swing and cleave his opponents, Biggun has no problem lugging around his massive blade.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Greatsword.
+2 dice to all rolls with Greatsword. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Greatsword.
You also gain the following effects:
- Dismember: If one of your attacks causes a Battle Scar, you may choose for it to be some form of dismemberment, depending on the Severity of the Injury you caused.

Tempest Blades
Dance like a whirlwind, a tempest of steel
Hyaku is a quick learner. While it takes most years to master the way of the air bender’s blades, she could get a grasp on the basics with a couple simple combat encounters. Now she can slash and push as the wind does, with multiple heavy blades to back it up.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with greatswords.
+2 dice to all rolls with greatswords. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using greatswords.
You also gain the following effects:
- Heavy Strikes: If you are attacking with a blunt weapon, if your attack causes an Injury you may choose to knock the target down and back 15 feet. Standing up is typically a Quick Action.

Meteor Hammer Mastery
Bo has spent his life studying the use of the meteor hammer
Bo is unbelievably adept at the use of the meteor hammer. He has spent his life training with it for multiple hours per day. It is an extension of his being. Any attack/defense made with a meteor hammer uses dex instead of brawn.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Meteor Hammers.
+2 dice to all rolls with Meteor Hammers. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Meteor Hammers.
You also gain the following effects:
- Heavy Strikes: If you are attacking with a blunt weapon, if your attack causes an Injury you may choose to knock the target down and back 15 feet. Standing up is typically a Quick Action.
- Quick Draw: You may draw and equip yourself with any melee weapon on your person or within arm’s reach as a Free Action, as long as it is not being wielded by someone else.
Contestant's Technique

Being incredibly capable with the gladiatorial weapons of your time, you know all the best techniques for killing, disarming, or defending yourself as quick as possible. Because if you didn't? You'd find yourself derezzed in a milisec flat.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Hardlight Blades.
+2 dice to all rolls with Hardlight Blades. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Hardlight Blades.
You also gain the following effects:
- Finesse: You may limit the Severity of any Injury you inflict or determine a maximum Wound Level to inflict on the target, including Incapacitated. You may also choose to make this Injury properly or improperly stabilized, or to keep it unstabilized.
- Quick Draw: You may draw and equip yourself with any melee weapon on your person or within arm’s reach as a Free Action, as long as it is not being wielded by someone else.

The ninja is a master of a wide variety of martial weapons. They kill quickly and quietly.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with melee ninja weapons.
+2 dice to all rolls with melee ninja weapons. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using melee ninja weapons.
You also gain the following effects:
- Assassin: If your attack Injures your target, they cannot make a sound, even incidentally, for a single Round. Even the sound of their body and equipment dropping to the ground is silenced.
- Falling Crane Strike: If you move and then make a successful attack against a target closer than the full distance you could have moved, you may choose to travel the excess movement in a straight line beyond the target.
