(Anyone who witnesses you activate this Effect is very likely to be disturbed to see seeing his tongue turn into a long ghostly green tentacle with a mouth on the end come out of Issac’s mouth, as both mouths speak. )

Issac is able to communicate to those who don’t have a voice, nor life. When used his tongue morphs into a long maw belonging to another being of unknown origin, the words of this mouth draw the undead to awaken so that he may speak with them.

This knowledge of this gift instructed him to perform a ritual involving cutting open his tongue and pouring an unknown black liquid on the wounds.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a Creature or Dead target within arm's reach. For dead targets, you must possess their a belonging or full name.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

While active, you may choose to use glib tongue. When you do, anything you say (even gibberish) will be exactly what the target wants to hear. You gain no understanding of what that might be.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see seeing his tongue turn into a long ghostly green tentacle with a mouth on the end come out of Issac’s mouth, as both mouths speak.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

You may understand and communicate to Creatures as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use A Tuning Fork to activate this Effect.

You may understand and communicate to humans as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

Whenever you encounter a Language you could commune in with this Effect, you immediately understand which language it is, the dialect, region, and other details about it.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Animal Lover: Must roll self control to harm an Animal.

While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.

The soul Widow calls sees the beacon in the dark, a call from a reaper. It takes time to bring the soul through the veils of the underworld, but the respect of the station demands answers. The station itself requires one to prove they should be respected. If the called dead has a desperate request, Widow must make a Self-control roll to resist the request as a potential loose end.
(This must be a desperate, whole hearted, selfless need. "Tell my daughter I am passed so she can move on." "Stop my killer from killing my family.")

Spend an Action. Select a human or Dead target within 50 feet. For dead targets, you must possess their their name.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Stock Commune Gifts

You gain the following benefits at all times.

You may understand and communicate to terrestrial animal as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

  • Communing with terrestrial animal does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
