Paper animals are a standard practice among even initiate origami artists, but few can make them as lively as Bryan can. After imbuement, the art prodigy has learned that he can even turn them into animated familiars with enough focus. Information the familiars survey is supernaturally printed on their paper, which Bryan can then view and erase once they're in eyesight.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must use up folding paper in order to activate this Effect.
Summon a single origami animal at your location. They will last for two hours, or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 1 minion active at a time.

Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend a Quick Action.
You transform into Bloodied Wendigo for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Bloodied Wendigo, and you can use your equipment. The Injuries and Battle Scars of your Alternate Form and your true form are tracked separately.

You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see His skin and bones break and deform into large Wendigo creature. Blood bursts out and bones crack.
Your alternate form renders you unable to speak any human language and incapable of fine object manipulation. You can only hold or grasp objects in a crude, clumsy way.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.

Victor slathers the honey onto the scarred spots. "This'll only take a bit, your body will need some time to adjust... this ain't down to a science yet!" It takes about a minute for the honey to accelerate the healing process enough to fix up the patient's scars. The power of some good honey really is somethin' ain't it?
It comes from blessed bees!
Don't ask why he has blessed bees, but yeah.
Something about the Hindu Bee God or whatever
Use up this Jar of Honey and spend a minute. Select up to four Battle Scars on yourself to treat.
The treated Battle Scars heals as you finish activating this Effect. If used on a Battle Scar caused by an Unstabilized Injury, that Injury is Stabilized.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
You see a small spiderlike drone about the size of a large dinner plate. It has eight legs and it can scurry along the ground or up a wall quite fast. Though obviously a techno-drone Tom has made some effort to both make them look more realistic and to camouflage them from prying eyes. As a result they look a bit like large tarantulas, with brown fur and four pairs of alert, shining black eyes. They blend in shockingly well to most forest or urban environments and are difficult to spot even when moving and are almost undetectable when sitting still.
Though virtually silent when moving slowly at higher speeds they make a quiet hum as they leap from one rock to the next, intent of their mission.
Tom the Tinkerer is a electronics and robotics genius and nowhere is that more evident than when you see his latest set of robotic helpers, a set of three robotic spider-bots he can carry in a backpack and deploy where they are needed. The spider-bots have artificial intelligence and in "autonomous mode" can obey simple spoken commands somewhat like a well-trained dog. They can also be controlled in "direct mode" through a small X-box-like controller Tom carries with him (though he can only control one drone at a time this way). The controller sports both a video screen and headphones, so Tom can both see and hear what the drone see and hears. The drones are armed with hypodermic-like fangs that can inject a variety of substances, including poison, sleep or paralysis drugs. These fangs can be either retained or launched as darts; each spider bot has eight reloads of its "fangs".
Each spider contains 100 feet of strong paracord-like webbing that can be anchored and used much like a spider uses its webs, though the paracord itself is not sticky. It can, however, be used to trip or entangle the unwary or act as a grappling hook if Tom needs to get down or over some obstacle.
When activated the spiders consume rechargeable batteries. How long the batteries last depends on how much movement the spider is doing; an hour or two in direct combat, or up to forty-eight hours in non-moving "sentry mode".
Tom is always tinkering with the bots, adding or removing features in his search for perfection.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up Batteries in order to activate this Effect.
Summon up to 3 Sapient Spider bots at your location. They last for two hours or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 3 minions active at a time.
The ancient art of Dowsing allows the Psychic Sensitive to tune into the vibrations of hidden or lost things. Traditionally used to find hidden groundwater, the practice grew to find other resources, with Dowsing being employed to look for oils reserves or gold.
Items of great sentimental value shine like a beacon to this method of Divination, as well as hidden resources, such as caches of food/supplies, stores of groundwater, or similar. This time honored tradition requires a dowsing rod, either a forked stick or tuning fork, to function.
Antiquities: Anything that is both Old & Valuable
Unclaimed Resources: Resources such as Water, Oil, Metals, Wealth that are not owned by anyone
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must actively and obviously use a Dowsing Rod to activate this Effect.
You automatically detect all Unclaimed Resources and Antiquities within 300 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.
The Future Soldier's PSG is capable of briefly supercharging its effectiveness with a jolt of Omega Cell energy. While active, the future soldier glows with an extremely bright golden light.
While the shield is supercharged, the Future Soldier cannot move or see the outside world, but they are completely isolated from anything that occurs outside the shield.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action or Reaction.
You phase out of reality for up to 4 Rounds. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.
When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.

If the Selkie's seal skin is worn close to the body, any contact with salt water will cause them to transform into a seal. While transformed, they have full access to their normal suite of Powers.

The werewolf unleashes their inner beast, transforming into an imposing hybrid of human and wolf. Their head reforms into that of a wolf, robbing them of speech but bestowing a maw of deadly fangs. Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Whenever you are struck by the light of a full or gibbous moon, you must roll Self-Control to resist transforming. Triggers a max of once per night.
The beastmaster shouts, and their human voice cracks into a deep, bestial roar. Their body swells with muscle, clothes melting into a thick pelt of fur. Seconds later the beastmaster is gone. Standing in their place is a massive grizzly bear.
However, even in human form the beast within remains close to the surface, and the beastmaster finds highly civilized social situations unbearable.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You transform into a brown bear for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.

The Thief casts a container's worth of fine powder into the air. The particulates are drawn to any sort of object that is designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc. The powder will not trigger these devices or interfere with their operation, but it does reveal their presence to the Thief.
The cloud drifts and swirls, subtly following the Thief for a minute.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up a container of fine powder in order to activate this Effect.
You automatically detect all object that are designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc within 50 feet of you for the next hour. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.
