Upon activation, Zeke's right eye flashes with a violet, mystical flare as it witnesses time itself unfold before him. Revealed are both glimpses into his immediate future and divinations from across all of time, granting him an endless library of knowledge.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your hourglass marked right-eye.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Countless Possibilities. When you roll an outcome of 1 or lower on an Intellect check, roll Self-Control. If you botched, you automatically fail. On a failure, your mind is assaulted with visages of the future, and you receive a -4 dice penalty for the next hour.
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
Elizabeth lets out a breath, and spreads her paws. The mists flow gently from them, swirling, taking the form of the illusion she needs. And then they solidify a little, shadows in the mist emerging from them, taking form and colour.
Spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach. Choose an illusion to generate, which can be no larger than a person.
The chosen illusion is generated at your target, and it will remain in place for the next minute or you choose to end it. It can be perceived by people through their sight. The illusion cannot be used as an attack. You cannot make an exact replica of an existing Animate being or Object.
Anyone who touches the illusion (or who would be able to perceive it significantly through a sense it cannot fool) realizes it is an illusion, and the entire effect will be ended for all targets.
The illusion will remain fixed to its initial target, and can only change locations if the initial target is mobile in some way. It may have moving parts and engage in simple, predetermined movements but cannot perform anything complex or interactive unless you maintain Concentration and “puppeteer” it.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
Harriet looks into a mirror, then to the object she wishes to store, then back to the mirror. The mirror's surface appears to reflect a tree (but Harriet is the only one who can see it), and the object is gone, grabbed by a mess of tree branches into nothingness.
Harriet uses a mirror to briefly open a physical path into the Mansus (the same place she summons all of her creatures from), there, in the Woods, is a lone tree. It's branches are a wild, tangled mess, rife with lost items. Harriet knows the secret you must tell it to be allowed what you have lost back into your possession.
Spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use Mirror to activate this Effect.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within 30 feet of you to your stash. You may only stash targets which are not possessed by someone else, and are freestanding and unattached.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
I have found that ground beef works best, it is most able to dissolve into the most beautiful creation I have every laid my eyes upon. It must look weird, to the unvitiated, when I unhook my gear, pull out raw meat, and spread it out the wound, like a heathen in the woods practicing witchcraft, but within the first 5 minutes, the meat starts to dissolve, and explodes through their pores as a tar which resembles the void. 10 minutes in, and the flames begin, despite there being no heat, the healed will become engulfed in them, and visually, as I have heard from others, it appears as I am burning them alive, until 5 minutes later, the burnt husk appears as they did 15 minutes prior. To those around me, when I do this, I highly recommend they turn around with blindfolds and ear plugs, as they are more useful to me functional than useless in the presence of God's son.
Upon the cleanse of flesh, the blessed must consume nothing but liquids for 48 hours, otherwise, they may face their wound returning infected, due to the nature of the process.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes to activate. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. You must use up Flesh (corpse, minced meat, etc.) in order to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Perception + Occult at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain. You may specify a specific condition that the patient must adhere to. If they break this condition, the treatment is immediately reversed. Record this regimen as a Condition.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Flesh melts into body, comes out of pores as tar, then target appears to be burnt alive until the effect is over.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a number of Living targets equal to your Charisma within 45 feet as well as a specific emotion. This Effect cannot be used unless must be able to preform a shanty and be heard. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, for the next hour, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by the chosen emotion. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way. Your own emotions are also shifted in the same way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
The resolve of an old man wtih a tophat
You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using a Cane to gain the benefits of this Effect.
You get +0 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
By focusing and whispering a prayer under their breath, the priest may invoke their god to protect those who have good works left to do.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Animate target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is a living human. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around your target, which absorbs the next Outcome +2 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is you whispering a prayer under your breath. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
While transformed, the werewolf's toughened hide provides protection from all manner of attacks, except silver.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are in werewolf form.
You have 4, which reduces incoming damage from all sources of physical attack except silver. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. This Armor cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.
Any Injury received from Damage that was reduced by this Armor is considered Makeshift Stabilized and will not degrade further, and any Battle Scar caused by them is reduced by 1 level. You may attempt a single Proper Stabilization on such Injuries.
Unimportant characters just can't seem to hit our hero with their attacks. Injuries that are sustained from underlings are conveniently non-severe.
You gain the following benefits as long as the attacker isn't important enough to have a name.
You have 4 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. This Armor cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.
The witch knows bad things happen to bad people. By bringing attention to a karmic imbalance, she can hurry it along, causing her target's bad luck to catch up with them. The target finds themselves suffering injuries due to freakishly bad luck until they cleanse themselves or perish.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a Living target within 25 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target deserves it. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes one of the following symptoms:
The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by bathing fully in clear running water.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is you staring at the target, speaking calmly. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
The psychic can reach into another's' mind and pilfer their deepest memories. Doing so causes the psychic's nose to bleed and is exceptionally draining.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Living, Animate target within 25 feet. You must maintain Concentration while the effect is active. Roll Intellect + Investigation at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you are able to view your target's memories. If you fail, the target knows you're attempting to read their memories.
You may ask a number of specific questions about their memory equal to your Contested Outcome. For example, “what is their computer password,” “What were they doing at 4:00PM yesterday,” etc. You cannot get answers to broad, analytical questions like “are they a good person?” or “what are their plans for the future?”
Each memory takes as long to read as it takes to answer the question. When replaying a full memory, it is replayed in double time.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is your nose bleeding. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
