Upon activation, Zeke's right eye flashes with a violet, mystical flare as it witnesses time itself unfold before him. Revealed are both glimpses into his immediate future and divinations from across all of time, granting him an endless library of knowledge.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your hourglass marked right-eye.

Your Intellect rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Countless Possibilities. When you roll an outcome of 1 or lower on an Intellect check, roll Self-Control. If you botched, you automatically fail. On a failure, your mind is assaulted with visages of the future, and you receive a -4 dice penalty for the next hour.

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Push Through It: When you Exert your Mind to ignore Penalty and gain +1 to your Outcome, it lasts for 3 Rounds.
  • Re-Think: You may wait until after all relevant rolls have been made to decide whether to Exert your Mind and get +1 to the Outcome. If Exerting would have caused you to ignore your Penalty and roll more dice, you may roll that many additional dice as well.
  • You may Exert your Mind any number of times per Round, including multiple times for each roll

  • If your hourglass marked right-eye is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Community Mythic Intellect Gifts

Larzi has awoken to a psychic potential that has laid dormant since their creation. The unexpected side effect is past and/or alternate lives now leak into her slightly. This is usually only a good thing, as she's able to borrow their experience (and sometimes even their hands) when she needs it.

Though apparently one of her lives has/had a very severe phobia of wide open spaces. Not very good for living in space.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Agoraphobia.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Quick Thinking: Any Intellect rolls other than Power activations are made as Free Actions. You get +2 dice to all Initiative rolls.

  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your fller.

Your Intellect rating is increased by 2. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: disfigured.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: yadda yadda.

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Multithreaded: Instead of being unable to take Actions while maintaining Concentration, you may now take Actions at a -2 dice penalty. You may maintain Concentration from two different Effects, but you are unable to take Actions when doing so.
  • Re-Think: You may wait until after all relevant rolls have been made to decide whether to Exert your Mind and get +1 to the Outcome. If Exerting would have caused you to ignore your Stress and roll more dice, you may roll that many additional dice as well.
  • You may Exert your Mind any number of times per Round, including multiple times for each roll
  • Insufferable Know-It-All: Any social rolls you make are at +1 difficulty, and if someone else can answer an informational question or solve a puzzle before you do, make a Trauma roll.

  • Being Injured or interrupted in some way can still break your Concentration.
  • When you exert multiple times, if you have the Enhancement Push Through It, the lingering Outcome bonus is limited to +1.
  • If your fller is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

You also gain the following effects:

  • Brilliant Deduction: You may spend five minutes pondering an enigma, puzzle, or mystery, and roll Intellect at Difficulty 8. Success will reveal a clue or other tidbit that you have otherwise missed. Limit once per enigma.
  • Never Forget: You have a perfect photographic memory, and can recall or recreate even complex and detailed things. If you forget something you had previously seen or noticed, you may ask the GM and they will remind you.
  • Push Through It: When you Exert your Mind to ignore Stress and gain +1 to your Outcome, it lasts for 3 Rounds.
  • Quick Thinking: Any Intellect rolls other than Power activations are made as Free Actions. You get +2 dice to all Initiative rolls.
  • Wait For Your Moment: You may take your Action on the turn of anyone who has a lower Initiative than you. If you do, you receive +2 dice to that roll.

  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
