Upon activation, Zeke's right eye flashes with a violet, mystical flare as it witnesses time itself unfold before him. Revealed are both glimpses into his immediate future and divinations from across all of time, granting him an endless library of knowledge.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your hourglass marked right-eye.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Time is Brain: Your Mind is a receiver for information across space & time, making any tears infinitely worse. Your mind is especially sensitive: Any Mind Penalty you have is doubled.
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Push Through It: When you Exert your Mind to ignore Penalty and gain +1 to your Outcome, it lasts for 3 Rounds.
- Re-Think: You may wait until after all relevant rolls have been made to decide whether to Exert your Mind and get +1 to the Outcome. If Exerting would have caused you to ignore your Penalty and roll more dice, you may roll that many additional dice as well.
- You may Exert your Mind any number of times per Round, including multiple times for each roll
- If your hourglass marked right-eye is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

As digital human, Task can think faster than pretty much anyone.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Nightmares.
You also gain the following effects:
- Brilliant Deduction: You may spend five minutes pondering an enigma, puzzle, or mystery, and roll Intellect at Difficulty 8. Success will reveal a clue or other tidbit that you have otherwise missed. Limit once per enigma.
- Never Forget: You have a perfect photographic memory, and can recall or recreate even complex and detailed things. If you forget something you had previously seen or noticed, you may ask the GM and they will remind you.
- Remarkably Self-Aware: You may roll Intellect at Difficulty 6 to “scan” yourself for abnormalities. With Outcome 1-3, any outside influences on your thoughts/mind will be detected, as well as Traumas. With Outcome 4+, you may Exert your Mind to cancel the Effect. One attempt per Effect.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
Revolutionary Mind
Make machines, not think like one.
Oggi has always been known as bright for his age, picking up complex engineering skills despite the lack of formal education. Yeah, fuck formal education. He’s reached enlightenment on his own. The firing of his neurons even faster than his artillery.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: ACAB: You cannot comply with law enforcement without rolling self-control.
You also gain the following effects:
- Never Forget: You have a perfect photographic memory, and can recall or recreate even complex and detailed things. If you forget something you had previously seen or noticed, you may ask the GM and they will remind you.
- Quick Thinking: Any Intellect rolls other than Power activations are made as Free Actions. You get +2 dice to all Initiative rolls.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
Sharp as a Tack
It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer.
The infinite traveller always had light brown eyes, which now almost glow and have an intense honey like color. Jessica gets more frequently stuck into her reflections and seems to be pensive about something most of the time.

Your Intellect rating is increased by 3. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Compulsion: puzzle solving and pattern-recognition.
You also gain the following effects:
- Brilliant Deduction: You may spend five minutes pondering an enigma, puzzle, or mystery, and roll Intellect at Difficulty 8. Success will reveal a clue or other tidbit that you have otherwise missed. Limit once per enigma.
- Multithreaded: Instead of being unable to take Actions while maintaining Concentration, you may now take Actions at a -2 dice penalty. You may maintain Concentration from two different Effects, but you are unable to take Actions when doing so.
- Never Forget: You have a perfect photographic memory, and can recall or recreate even complex and detailed things. If you forget something you had previously seen or noticed, you may ask the GM and they will remind you.
- Prodigy: Whenever you witness someone get an Outcome of 6 or higher, or someone demonstrates an Ability with the intent of teaching you, you may Exert your Mind. If you do, rolls using that Ability use their rating instead of your own for the next day.
- Push Through It: When you Exert your Mind to ignore Stress and gain +1 to your Outcome, it lasts for 3 Rounds.
- Quick Thinking: Any Intellect rolls other than Power activations are made as Free Actions. You get +2 dice to all Initiative rolls.
- Remarkably Self-Aware: You may roll Intellect at Difficulty 6 to “scan” yourself for abnormalities. With Outcome 1-3, any outside influences on your thoughts/mind will be detected, as well as Traumas. With Outcome 4+, you may Exert your Mind to cancel the Effect. One attempt per Effect.
- Sheer Willpower: You may Exert your Mind up to three times per Round, including multiple times for each roll.
- Wait For Your Moment: You may take your Action on the turn of anyone who has a lower Initiative than you. If you do, you receive +2 dice to that roll.
- Being Injured or interrupted in some way can still break your Concentration.
- When you exert multiple times, if you have the Enhancement Push Through It, the lingering Outcome bonus is limited to +1.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
Alchemical Transcendence

All of your experiments have gained you... an out-of-body insight, some would say. Your understanding of the world around you has never been so clear, but there's always a sinking feeling that there's something lurking around that corner. Surely it's nothing - you wouldn't notice it anyway.
On alchemy:
Delphyrion's always been interested in transformations beyond the tenets of chemistry. They like to think their relentless research has proven to be fruitful, though there's still much work to be done. Their path has been full of twists and turns and forks but the destination will surely be grand.

Quantum Intelligence
The secrets of time & space unfold within the mind of the tiny sauropod.
Guido's exposure to millions of years in transit from the Jurassic to the modern era exposed him to vast amounts of temporal radiation. While he didn't age, the fetal embryo did experience this time. Despite only being chronologically 3 years of age, Guido has vast intelligence, partially due to the Deep Time he endured & partially due to mutation that synchronizes his fore & hind brain as a quantum singularity. If this connection is severed, most likely due to wounds on the spine, this ability is lost until the spinal damage heals. This is particularly relevant to his cockatiel-like feathered crest, which seems to attenuate the strange quantum energies associated with the anomalous intellect.
Having perceived portions of Time & Space beyond mortal ken, Guido is unusually afraid of the dark, & will avoid poorly lit areas.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Feather Crest.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 3. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Nyctophopia.
