You may perceive things through sight within 75 feet of you as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next 30 minutes.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is their pupils dilate. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

Spectral Lantern
The artifact contains an ethereal flame, which lies dormant until activated. Once activated the user can see their surroundings illuminated by a faith ethereal light that pierces obstacles. Others see the dormant gray flame awaken and flicker in its housing.

Five-Second Foreshadowing

It’s not necessarily seeing the future, but you do save 5 seconds and potentially your life by getting a short vision of what’s to come within 75 feet of you, the type of cutaway scene for the audience to understand what’s going on before the characters do. Thanks, invisible audience.

You may perceive things within 75 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next 3 rounds. You must maintain Concentration to keep up the effect.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is looking aside as if into an invisible camera. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

Scrying Mirror

Looking through a mirrored surface, the reflection shimmers and changes, showing Barry another place, from a perspective very similar to his own.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target Location within 75 feet. You must actively and obviously use A Mirrored Surface to activate this Effect.
You may perceive things as if you were standing at that Location for the next 30 minutes. You may move your senses back and forth between your projected location and your real location without prematurely ending the effect. You may only have one projected location active at a time.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Dreamlands Overlay
"Leaving a little bit of myself in the Dreamlands when I come back lets me see in both at once."
Minerva lets out a breath and closes her eyes for a moment. She slips into the Dreamlands for just a moment, and when she comes back, she leaves just a little bit of herself there. Opening her eyes, her irises have become rainbow coloured, and she can see in both, although she's just a little paler, like some of the colour has left her.
In a pinch, she can illusion her irises back to normal, but she prefers to leave them like that.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must actively and obviously use silver fox pendant to activate this Effect.
You may perceive things through sight within 500 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next 30 minutes.
You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless Her magic hat on aka her astrologist hat minion. You must actively and obviously use Hat to activate this Effect.
You may perceive things within 50 feet of you as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view. The effect lasts indefinitely but you must maintain Concentration to keep it up.
Others near you may choose to observe what you are perceiving by touching her hat.
Any Perception rolls made through obstacles are rolled at +1 Difficulty.
You create a visible manifestation at the Location where your senses are projected which looks like Water around her spirit.

Ear for Gossip

The influencer is 100% tuned-in to any sort of chatter about themselves. Any time someone nearby so much as whispers about them, they know who they were and what they said.
This Effect activates whenever someone talks about you. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a target Location within 75 feet. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event.
You may perceive things through hearing as if you were standing at that Location for the next 30 minutes. You must maintain Concentration to keep up the effect. You cannot perceive anything at your physical location while the effect is active.
- When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
- This does not satisfy the Line of Sight requirement for targeted Effects.
Astral Glance
To see beyond, you must open your third eye.
The mystic enters a meditation while focusing on a remote location. A glowing sigil of an eye appears on their forehead, and a ghostly image of themselves meditating appears at the location they are envisioning. For a brief period, they may see the area they are projecting to as though they were standing there.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target Location within 75 feet.
You may perceive things as if you were standing at that Location. The effect lasts indefinitely but you must maintain Concentration to keep it up. You cannot perceive anything at your physical location while the effect is active.
You create a visible manifestation at the Location where your senses are projected which looks like a ghostly image of yourself meditating.
- This does not satisfy the Line of Sight requirement for targeted Effects.
