The user's pupils swap from normal, human circles to vertical, serpentine slits each time they blink. The effect is only noticeable upon close inspection, and is exclusively cosmetic.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
You also gain the following effects:
- Constant Vigilance: You cannot be ambushed or caught-flat footed when awake. When asleep, you can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6 to wake up in time.
- Weak Points: You may use Perception in place of Dexterity on attack rolls.
- You can still be ambushed if you are incapacitated, stunned, or being kept unconscious supernaturally.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Gen-Wyld: Beyond Natural
On March 14, 2018, a little-known company named Gen-Wyld announced FDA approval for a groundbreaking procedure to enhance a patient’s primary and secondary sexual characteristics using gene therapy. The company was an overnight success.
Shortly thereafter, they introduced a suite of gene-altering body modification procedures that allowed patients to make dramatic aesthetic changes to their bodies by gene-splicing “non-human” anatomy. Those daring (and wealthy) enough can now add cuttlefish pigmentation to their skin, sport a pair of fox ears, and even add a functional tail. While rare, these so-called “modders” draw plenty of hate from conservative communities.
Thanks to their revolutionary procedures, Gen-Wyld is now a household name. Norman Carlson, Gen-Wyld’s chief evangelist, recently announced the company is in the trial phase for a groundbreaking treatment for diabetes.
Yet despite their success, a shroud of secrecy surrounds Gen-Wyld. Their no-patent policy obscures the secrets of their procedures from the public eye. Financial experts claim that Gen-Wyld is run less like a traditional business and more like an NGO with some specific, unknown objective.
Some claim that they will not stop until humanity has been reduced to monstrous slaves and that Gen-Wyld’s board of directors will install themselves as inhuman overlords of the new world order.
However, until the true secrets behind Gen-Wyld are discovered, the genetic biotech firm will continue to grow, develop, and progress its grand designs.

Zero Eyes
Your eyes seem to magically glow for everyone. Your ability to see is unbound by any means, and while awake it's almost impossible to be surprised.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Eyes clearly glow blue.
Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Compensate: If any of your senses are suppressed, they may still be used for rolls at +2 difficulty.
- Constant Vigilance: You cannot be ambushed or caught-flat footed when awake. When asleep, you can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6 to wake up in time.
- Gut Feeling: You may roll Perception + Alertness Difficulty 7 to detect when someone is watching you remotely, even through supernatural means. Requires Outcome 4 or higher.
- Can't Unsee: Any Trauma rolls you make are rolled at +2 Difficulty.
- You can still be ambushed if you are incapacitated, stunned, or being kept unconscious supernaturally.
- If your Eyes clearly glow blue is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).
I Don't Like This, Not One Bit [...]

Zero was born suspicious. He came into the world squinting at the doctor like the man owed him money, and it’s only gotten worse from there. Every twitch, every hesitation, every half-second delay in someone’s response—it all feeds into the ever-spinning gears of Zero’s mind. This isn’t just paranoia; it’s a razor-sharp instinct honed by experience and necessity. Zero notices what others dismiss—the too-clean alley in a dirty neighborhood, the nervous twitch of a dealer whose product’s been cut wrong, the way a room’s energy shifts just before someone pulls a gun. When he walks into a place, he clocks every exit, every blind spot, every potential weapon. He knows when he’s being watched. More importantly, he knows when he’s being set up. Maybe it’s supernatural. Maybe he’s just seen too much. But whatever it is, when Zero mutters, “I don’t like this, not one bit,” smart people listen. The dumb ones? Well, they find out why he was right the hard way.

- Clear-Sighted: If you see an illusion, disguise, or other false reality, you recognize it as such but cannot immediately see through it.
- Constant Vigilance: You may React to surprise Attacks, and you do not automatically lose initiative if ambushed or caught-flat footed. +2 dice to Initiative.
- Saw it Coming: Any time you attempt to dodge an Attack from someone lower than your position in Initiative, you may Exert your Mind to automatically succeed without a roll. You may use Source to make a Desperate Defense. There is still a maximum of one Desperate Defense per Round.
- Seeing Double: The ranges of all your senses are multiplied by 2.
- You can still be ambushed if you are incapacitated, stunned, or being kept unconscious supernaturally.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Supernatural Awareness
After an incident involving an alchemist performing experiments on zem, Kitty sees much of the space around zem all the time. An unstable anchor.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Phobia of Needles.

Eyes of the Predator
“You can run, you can hide but I’ll see you long before you see me.”
When Huey activates this heightened sense, his pupils dilate unnaturally, taking on a faint, luminous amber glow a subtle reminder of his lycanthropic nature. To anyone paying close attention, his gaze becomes eerily focused, as if peeling back layers of reality to notice details others would never perceive.
When the ability fully kicks in (especially when Huey Exerts his Mind for an automatic Outcome), the world seems to slow down from his perspective. Colors become sharper, sounds more distinct, and every movement in his surroundings appears exaggerated, as if caught in the crosshairs of an apex predator.
Huey’s curse as a werewolf has sharpened his instincts far beyond natural human limits. Over time, this heightened awareness evolved from a mere survival tool into something far more powerful an apex hunter’s intuition that allows him to read the environment like an open book.
His senses don’t just extend outward they pierce through shadows, fog, and the veil of human ignorance. The downside of this heightened perception is that some horrors can never be unseen; each time his instincts save him, his mind pays the toll, teetering closer to the edge of trauma with every unspeakable sight.
Whether it’s spotting a threat from twice the normal distance or catching a glimpse of the supernatural where others see nothing, Eyes of the Predator turns Huey into a living radar for danger and the consequences of what he perceives could haunt him forever.
