Nathan provides a mirror reflecting the target creature. As they do so, walking into the image is his reflection who snaps off a fragment of itself and drives it into the target, embedding it deep within their reflection.
It is spread throughout the entity where it then is able to puppet the body... Its body.

For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.

Dr. Freeman can alter the memories of a person as long as he is touching their brain.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Human target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless you are touching the target's naked brain. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you destroy the target's brain, klling them. Roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8.
If the contested Outcome is positive, a specific period of time (up to 1 day long) from your target’s memory is either replaced with new memories or forgotten entirely. This is recorded as a Condition. The level of detail and completeness of the alteration depends on your Outcome. If you fail, the target realizes that you are attempting to alter their memories. Any alterations you make must feature yourself as you appear today in some way.
The period is chosen either by time (i.e. “last Friday night”) or by reference to a specific event (i.e. “when the murder occurred”). You may also choose to only alter a single specific detail rather than an entire period, such as a password, phone number, directions, or you may remove all knowledge of one specific thing, regardless of time period, such as a loved one, a location, a prized possession, etc.
Affected targets will invent new memories to justify the inconsistencies. For instance, if their memory was altered to include a new friend they don’t have, they may invent further memories of meeting that friend, spending time with them, etc.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see you altering the target's naked brain.
Vergil is nice to a literal supernatural degree, and through a combination of nearly invisible spores in the air that glow a light blue, and a healthy helping of empathy and emotional intelligence Vergil can ensure that the people he's around are in better mental health than any mental hospital in the world. Though blissfully unaware of its assistance by the mushroom parasite inside him, hey. What you don't know won't kill you... right?
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. You may attempt to treat an unwilling patient. They may choose to resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. The nature of their Trauma will still be revealed to you if you treat them successfully, though they may not tell you directly.
Once per day per target, you may choose to use this Effect to stabilize a target's Mind. Treatment takes 30 seconds but will not remove any Traumas. If you are successful, restore 2 Mind damage.
You may choose to use this Effect to temporarily relieve any number of the patient's Traumas (including permanent Traumas which were recorded as Conditions). In this case, Treatment takes 30 seconds and the effect lasts two hours. If the Patient is currently experiencing an episode, Difficulty is increased by 2.

“You feel his mind in your mind. You don’t understand the language, but you understand the sentiment…”
Angel now has the ability to understand any human, regardless of tongue, by listening to the Universal Language. This leaves a bitter, earthy taste in his and the target’s mouth like what Angel drank in the dunes. On Angel’s side, the world seems to warp and ripple; this effect is much more slight to observers.
Gained languages: Zulu
Activated Rune: Communication
The shamans in the desert brought Angel on a hallucinogenic spiritual journey to break his curse from the rats. Since then, he’s been able to concentrate and recall the energy of the concoction he drank to unlock this second vision.
