Fragment Within A shard of me in you.
Nathan provides a mirror reflecting the target creature. As they do so, walking into the image is his reflection who snaps off a fragment of itself and drives it into the target, embedding it deep within their reflection.
It is spread throughout the entity where it then is able to puppet the body... Its body.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Creature within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use a mirror to activate this Effect.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands can be complex and multi-layered, though they must still be specific. You can make them endanger themselves or otherwise go against their self-preservation instincts. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you use this Effect on the same Creature two days in a row, the effect lasts indefinitely.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
- Exhaustion penalties and duration stack. If you activate this Effect or another Effect with Exhaustion, your penalty will worsen, and the duration is increased by one hour.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

The Beastmaster whistles to his beloved friends and it seems the order was already heard loud and clear.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Non-Alien Creature within 300 feet.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.

Mae kneel down and with a gentle eye, they would offer a treat for the animal and touch their head to connect Mae's mind with the animal mind. Her eye roll backwards and start to mumbling. Afterward Mae would feel exhausted and sweat roll down her forehead and cough up some blood.

No terrestrial animal dares defy the will of the beastmaster. The beastmaster exerts their dominance over an animal by locking eyes and giving a primal cry. The creature immediately becomes docile and eager to please.
