Janus reflects on his time in the cult and his slow but progressive indoctrination. How his food was subtly diminished, sleeping times were shifted, independence and decision making were shelved. How all of his behaviors were subtly curtailed to fitting what the cult wanted. He then tries to recreate a minor example of that on another in order to better understand them and their traumas.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is Janus eyes change color from brown to blue.. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

Raise the hair on your neck. Tune in to the city.
Cool for: City Lovers, The Wisest of the Street Wise, The Genuinely Supra-Natural
Shivers come when the temperature drops and you become more keenly aware of your surroundings. It enables you to hear the city itself, to truly belong to the streets. It is a supra-natural ability; old wrongs play out in present time, scenes across the city happen in front of you. But who is speaking to you?
At high levels, Shivers may make you seem mad to the outside world – as you listen to the city, you don’t listen to others. Your superiors may begin to worry. With a low Shivers, though you will seldom hear the city speaking to you – and if you cannot hear it, how can you ever save it?
Spend a half hour. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Investigation at Difficulty 6.

As the bearer of the Earth Crystal, the Empress can summon an enormous tail tipped with dull golden natural blades, and a pair of insectoid graspers resembling golden mantis claws. The tail can excrete a sticky substance which the claws quickly spin into an incredibly strong golden thread, and the claws can manipulate that thread to wield weapons from afar.
The tail and the claws, when used in tandem, can be used to spin the Empress's signature Golden Thread: a form of gilded string that would take the weight of a mountain to break (poetically, of course. The actual tensile strength of her threads have not yet been that sorely tested.)
Her limbs are granted to her thanks to the power of the 'magical crystal' she bears. More accurately she was programmed to have those limbs thanks to the power of that crystal to fit her story role as an RPG boss fight. If you insult her tail to her face she will most likely attack you.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: extending your hands outwards in a grandiose manner and loudly declaring your might. You must actively and obviously use a crystal to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You gain 3 additional limbs that function as standard human arms and hands. Lasts two hours.
Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Each additional appendage you have gives you +1 dice to make and resist Grapples (up to a maximum bonus of +4 dice).
Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.
Your extra appendage can stretch to reach an additional 30 feet.
You may dedicate your extra Quick Action to contest any attempt to escape your Grapples. If you do so, you roll your full dice pool to contest and retain your Action to do anything that does not target the subject of your Grapple.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Vain - You are exceptionally weak to flattery. Complements given to you, (especially regarding your extra appendages), require you to make a self-control roll or think exceptionally higher of the flatterer, offering them things you otherwise wouldn't or trusting them. Triggers once per conversation with an individual.
