Minerva focuses on a target and wiggles her nose some, looking at them in both the physical lands and the Dreamlands for a moment. In the Dreamlands, such focus can be dangerous. She leaves a small concept in them - one she holds herself. And thus, in the Dreamlands, the distance is always negligible.
And by finding the concept she has put in them, she can find the concepts around that, of course. And with that, she can find that which she embedded the concept in, no matter where it is.
Spend an Action. Select a target within 20 feet.
Your target is marked with a small shard of softly glowing pink crystal, burried deep in the target, near its core. The mark can only be discovered with a deep medical inspection or Effect. Removal inflicts a Severity 1 Injury on the target.
You are aware of the marked target's direction and distance from you. This lasts for an hour, or until either the mark is removed, or you choose to end the Effect. You can have up to 1 mark active.
You may use any Awareness Powers on a marked target at any range.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
This Effect ends if you are stunned, fall asleep, go unconscious, are incapacitated, die, or if your total Stress ever exceeds 5.
Hank's body is... larger, specially his hands. While his claws are certainly menacing, he prefers to stick to punches. Thanks to his non-human form, his unarmed attacks have nothing to envy from material weapons, and might even prove more versatile and useful than such.
Normally, Hank tries to keep himself to punching, kicking and grappling. However, if he decides to resort to lethal methods, he may try to rend with his claws or maul with his teeth.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +2 Weapon Damage (instead of -1).
You may Defend against melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks from any range and Clash with those in range of your Attacks. Attacking materials like steel or spikes will not Damage you unless it has an Effect that does so.
Edgar bites into flesh or bone, typically devouring the heart, tongue, eyes, & brain in the first sitting. Memories flood the ghoul, causing his eyes to flicker - occasionally, these cast-off memories can be coalesced enough to re-create a fragment of the person's personality - this is an unpleasant fate, as the victim essentially becomes a powerless voice in the mind of the ravenous Ghoul for the duration. Only Edgar can hear this personality fragment, though he can converse with it if desired, effectively talking to himself.
Once consumed, the Ghoul can summon up these voices from the past any time thereafter, the memories lying otherwise dormant.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. For dead targets, you must possess their flesh, having eaten a portion of them in the past.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
Communicating with a being cannot directly damage your Mind or cause Injury. All rolls to resist Effects that rely on communicating with you are made at -1 Difficulty.
While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.
You may only use this Effect once per target per day.
Upon making contact with a creatures skin Lucian liquifies and enters the pores of a creature entering their blood stream quickly flowing to the brain where they take possession over the creatures faculties.
Spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Non-Alien Creature target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless must not be in direct sunlight and Must Have Drank a pint of Blood in the last 12 hours.
You possess your target and have control over their actions for the next hour. You do not leave your original body behind when you possess a target. When a possession ends, your original body will reappear at the host body’s same location. You may spend an Action to end the possession early.
Stats: Any Actions you take will use the possessed creature’s Brawn, Dexterity, and Perception, but use your own Charisma, Intellect, and Abilities.
Gifts: You do not have access to any Gifts while you are possessing your target.
Death: If the host becomes incapacitated or is destroyed, you are forcibly evicted back into your own body.
Eviction: You are able to engage in combat or take other risky actions without being forced out of the host’s body. If you are forced out of the target's body prematurely, you must make a Trauma roll.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Lucian Liquifies into swirling blood and enters the creatures body taking it over.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The chemist jabs a needle filled with viscous silvery liquid into his forearm. The affected hand begins to grow, fingers elongating and nails falling out to give room to razor-sharp claws. As the concoction spreads through his body the muscles swell and grow more dense, veins bulging out around them.
The serum itself is carefully crafted by Vincent and is custom tailored to his anatomy. It is still imperfect, overworking the body while it is in effect. It also has a chance to be rejected by the recipient's immune system, causing strife that may lead to internal bleeding or extreme exhaustion.
Exert your Mind (unless Severity-3 or deadlier Injury) and spend an Action. You must use up a biochemical serum in order to activate this Effect.
You transform into a mutant for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a mutant, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1 and your Dexterity is increased by 1. Your Stress is reduced by 2.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -1).
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
When you activate this Effect, roll a single D10. if the result is 5 or lower, you receive a Severity-1 Injury and a Minor Battle Scar.
Mountain Spirit’s Leap
When Stinky Pete focuses his mind to teleport, his form becomes momentarily blurred, like a mirage dancing on the mountain wind. His eyes glaze over as he attunes himself to the earth beneath him, feeling the ancient paths and hidden routes that only he can sense.
As he exerts his Mind, the very ground seems to respond, sending tremors through the soil, and his form flickers, bending reality as if nature itself is plucking him from one spot and dropping him elsewhere. To an observer, it’s like he vanishes into thin air with a gust of wind and reappears where he intends, the faint sound of shifting stones accompanying his arrival.
If in a mountainous area, this ability becomes even more dramatic. The mountains seem to call out to him, their ridges and peaks aligning in his mind like a vast interconnected web. For one minute, as he traverses the rocky terrain, each step resonates with an ancient power. When he decides to jump, there’s a sudden, sharp pull as the very fabric of the mountains folds, spitting him out at the edge of another range, no matter how distant. The terrain doesn’t just connect; it becomes an extension of his will, bending space and time as if he were an avatar of the mountains themselves.
Exert your Mind (unless when in a mountainous area) and spend 2 Actions. Select a Location within your line of sight.
You are transported directly to the chosen Location. Anyone who is touching you as you Travel will be brought along with you. You must wait 1 full Round before activating this Effect again.
If you traverse any Mountains for one minute, you may activate this Effect and travel to the edge of any other Mountains that you’re aware of, regardless of range.
Immediately on arriving at a new destination, you may spend your next Action to return to the starting location without Exerting your Mind.
The creature's claws rip through the poor, defenseless doctor's coat, opening deep gashes in their gut. It bares its fangs to lunge for the killing blow, but the doctor looks up at the attacker. Their eyes filed not with utter terror at their imminent demise, only a look of disappointment and pity. Touched, the monster hesitates. . .
This Effect activates whenever you receive a Severity 2 or higher Injury from an attack. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Living target within 45 feet. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, for the next minute, your target will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by remorse for hurting such a pure soul. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
The Thief examines an object closely for a minute to appraise its value. As their eyes dance across the subject, their pupils split vertically, and their irises fade to gold. If it is a particularly valuable item, the Thief may greedily lick their lips, revealing a forked tongue.
Within a minute, they have determined how materially valuable the object is and why.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a target Object within arm's reach. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Culture at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.
Any successful musician knows the value of a good roadie. The musician calls for a roadie, and one will promptly arrive. The roadie doesn't talk much, and they aren't too bright, but they can sure haul gear.
After a couple hours of work, the roadie will retire to smoke and get some sleep.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Summon a single Sapient roadie at your location. They last for two hours or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most one minion active at a time.

Driving rugged vehicles in a combat situation is second nature to the Soldier. They measure their shots and navigate obstacles with a subtle timing that doesn't affect the steadiness of their own or their passengers' weapons. Firing a few shots through the windshield or window while performing dangerous driving maneuvers is also no problem.
You gain the following benefits as long as Must be driving a rugged vehicle such as an SUV truck or armored car. and you are piloting any vehicle.
You receive +2 dice to any rolls to pilot a vehicle.
You also gain the following effects:
By focusing and whispering a prayer under their breath, the priest may invoke their god to protect those who have good works left to do.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Animate target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is a living human. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around your target, which absorbs the next Outcome +2 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is you whispering a prayer under your breath. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
