Edgar has the sensory capacity of a ghoul: that is, a nose keen as any Bloodhound with a specific focus to locating corpses, as well as hearing able to pick up frequencies both above & below human perception. He is capable of using this extraordinary sense for echolocation, producing a "meep" that is beyond the range of human hearing. Even more revolting, his long, thin, pebbled tongue has an incredible degree of sensitivity...Edgar never forgets a taste or a face...often the same thing.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
  • Hearing: You are capable of perceiving physical shapes via sound. You must produce a Ultrasonic Meep to “ping” with your echolocation each Round you wish to use it.
  • Hearing: You may hear sounds of sub- and hyper-sonic frequencies, allowing you to hear tiny things (mice, insects, etc) better, and pick up on the vibrations of massive things (earthquakes, atmospheric disruptions, etc) long before others.
  • Touch: You can pick up on subtle differences between textures with ease, and can immediately find what you are looking for when rummaging (digging through trash, finding a needle in a haystack, etc), assuming it is actually present.
  • Taste: You can recognize any flavor you have previously tasted and name it, and may determine the composition of something based on its taste.
  • Ultrasound: You may spend an Action to ultrasound a surface within arm’s reach. Doing so reveals the internal structures of beings or objects. When used on the ground or a wall, you detect any tunnels, pipes, or hallways within 40 feet.

  • Hearing: You may spend an Action to ultrasound a surface within arm’s reach. Doing so reveals the internal structures of beings or objects. When used on the ground or a wall, you detect any tunnels, pipes, or hallways within 40 feet.

  • Thermal: You are able to "see" heat signatures within your line of sight.

  • Your thermal vision allows you to judge temperatures of surfaces fairly accurately as long as they are within livable temperatures.

  • Sight: You can see things that are up to a mile away as though you were only standing twenty feet away, provided your view is unobstructed.
  • Sight: You can see things that are normally invisible to the naked eye, such as fingerprints and bacteria.

  • Your microscopic vision requires a close look at a very small, specific area to use. It does not grant increased distance vision, it simply provides a higher resolution, allowing you to see finer and finer detail.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. This Effect cannot be used unless detecting creatures with blood.

You may perceive things through sight within 75 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view. The effect lasts indefinitely but you must maintain Concentration to keep it up.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is blood shot eyes. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

  • This does not satisfy the Line of Sight requirement for targeted Effects.
