When used, the affected area starts bleeding rapidly, where every layer of blood that comes out builds up a new layer of healed flesh till the injury has been fully transferred. If it's an internal effect, then blood will either come out of another orifice closest to the injury or a black goop if its a mental effect will fill the eyes before draining via tears.
This is one of the few experiments that got the intended effect; after a long time of trying to find a way to heal significant damage, we figured out a way to instead transfer it. This is still beneficial as we have figured out also to do it wirelessly via some quantum physics shenanigans my workers have done. I don't really care. I'm just happy it works. The only problem is that it needs to be connected actively to another individual with millions of biomechanical robots all meticulously connected to each other and the individual receiving the injury being unconscious. Thankfully we have figured out that medically induced commas do work and can still get the desired effects.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Choose Jonathan, Hired Sacrifice as a target, regardless of how far away they are. This Effect cannot be used unless The target must be unconscious.. Your target may Resist to cancel the transfer.
You may choose a single instance of one of the following to transfer from your target to yourself, or from yourself to them:
Frank holds up an envelope, and with his finger begins to write on it, after it speeds away, appearing in front of the letter's receiver.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. You must use up an envelope in order to activate this Effect.
You open up a line of communication to your target, and may converse with them as long as one of you maintains Concentration
The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
After a while, Clyde has developed a supererogatory for food, or water, as well as, in dire cases, need for air. He does not degrade when he doesn't eat for days at a time, nor does he drink for days. He, for a time, holds his breath for hours on end, though eventually, he gets tired and goes to sleep.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You no longer require any food, water, sleep, or air in order to survive. You no longer age naturally, and supernatural attempts to age you fail. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement automatically succeeds.
You may spend one minute entering a state of hibernation, during which you are inanimate and unaffected by any requirements for life. You may still perceive the outside world and may spend 3 Rounds "waking up" to end it.
Mira's jokes are so bad they make people fall asleep :3
Better description:
Mira awkwardly shuffles onto the stage, adjusting the microphone and clearing her throat. The mic rings throughout the room, Mira taps it, "Hello everyone!", "Why don't oysters donate to charity?" .... silence .... "Because they're SHELLFISH!" Mira struggles to contain her laughter at her own joke, the crowd is dead silent.
This goes on and before long nearly the entire crowd have fallen asleep. Mira looks at the crowd, dejected and steps off stage...
Spend an Action. Select a Location within 30 feet. All Living targets within 20 feet of the chosen location are affected. This Effect cannot be used unless Mira is performing in front of a crowd of people or on a stage of some sort and Mira is making jokes continously for at least 1 minute. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, affected targets becomes drowsy for the next 30 seconds, during which time they suffer an additional -2 dice Penalty to all Actions. At the end of their drowsiness, they fall asleep for Outcome x 3 minutes.
Sleeping targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, but may still be woken up by sudden loud noises, being jarred or splashed with water, taking Damage, or similar rousing events. They will also awaken before dying of hunger, thirst, or suffocation. Drowsy targets always fall asleep, regardless of what happens while they are drowsy.
When activating this Effect you may attempt a knockout. If you do and your Contested Outcome exceeds 4, the target falls asleep immediately. Otherwise, they suffer the drowsy penalty for 2 Rounds.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The energy of Catalytic's punches makes them a league above those of a regular person.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are powered-up and you are engaged in unarmed combat.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +2 Weapon Damage (instead of -1).
You may Defend against melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks from any range and Clash with those in range of your Attacks. Attacking materials like steel or spikes will not Damage you unless it has an Effect that does so.
You also gain the following effects:
Lily does a swift 3/3 conducting motion, and on the 3-1 beat, she strikes down, and a giant glowing golden holographic lily flower will bloom at her feet with a 15ft (~4.5m) radius. As long as this lily is intact, all projectiles or any attacks from beyond it will transform into falling lily petals and the damage is null.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next (Outcome +4) Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. You may choose to create a bubble barrier. If you do, no physical objects or entities can pass into your bubble until the barrier is broken, but you and the barrier cannot move. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
The Ninja is so attuned to the sounds of their surroundings, they may focus their mind to "see" using the subtle acoustic vibrations.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
The magician dons an unusual piece of clothing and immediately shifts their appearance to be completely different! However, they must reveal their true identity before they can cast any more spells.
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. You must actively and obviously use a piece of clothing you wouldn't normally wear to activate this Effect.
You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.
The new appearance may have a different sex, age, and race to your own, and you may alter height by up to a foot and your weight by 50%. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You may change the appearance of your outfit. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.
You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.
This Effect ends if you take an Injury or are stunned or incapacitated.
While disguised, you cannot use any Activated or Targeted Powers.
The Necromancer may exert their will on any undead creature, forcing it to act as they desire. The Necromancer's eyes turn completely black, and they speak a command to the creature in the language of the dead.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Non-Alien, Non-Sapient, Animate target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands must be relatively simple and within the target’s intellectual grasp. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
The time-traveler spins the second hand on one of their watches and speeds up until they are a blur.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a watch to activate this Effect.
Lasts 1 minute. Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is doubled.
Outside of Combat, any non-Gift, non-movement Actions you attempt take drastically less time to complete, as long as your personal speed is a factor in the Action. Total time reduction is determined by the GM and capped at 90% (executing the Action takes no less than 1/10th the normal time).
The survivalist spends a moment setting up a makeshift booby trap. The tripwires and pressure plates are so expertly hidden, they can only be noticed by those who have fallen victim to them before.
The victim is hit with a tiny curare dart. Pain wracks their body as a potent neurotoxin spreads through their veins.
Exert your Mind and spend 30 seconds to trap a region of any shape that contains your current location and fits entirely within 300 feet. This trap lasts one day or until triggered or disarmed. You must use up a dart in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Survival Difficulty 6.
The trap looks like a tripwire, a pressure plate, or a hidden switch. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.
Any Living target that enters the chosen region will trigger the trap. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 2. The target's Armor is completely ignored.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.
