Ppimperton gives a tap of his Pimp-Cane or a snap of his fingers, and he concentrates a moment. He names which Bitch he wishes to summon, and then with a growl he reminds her aloud that he *owns* her and threatens/cajoles/something her. She obediently steps out from behind him, appearing from within his shadow.
Alternatively, he might concentrate a few moments before tossing a roll of cash off toward a corner, and the hand of one of his Bitches pops out of a shadow to catch the money. Ppimperton then demands she get her ass out here, and she pulls the rest of her body out of the shadow.
Bitches have the following equipment:
* Extremely revealing clothing and hugely impractical shoes that don't hinder them at all
* Kevlar-reinforced fur long-coat
* Pistol with extra mags
* Switchblade for cuttin' Jive Tricks
* Personal amount of cocaine
* Smartphone
* Smartwatch
* Skye: Suitcase/Backpack with Various Survival Gear: Poptent, water filtration equipment, rations, canteen, survival knife, basic fishing gear, etc.
* Moxy: Stuffed-Animal Backpack with Various Investigatory Equipment: Magnifying glass, telescope, basic mirrored microscope, Farmer's Almanac, etc.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Naming, Reminder of Ownership. You must use up Money in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
Summon a single Bitch at your location. They will last until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. This Artifact may have at most 2 minions active at a time.
Possession of this Artifact causes the following Battle Scar to manifest over the course of a day: Demonic Shadow and Green-Glinting Eyes. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next day.
Shoots typical lead balls from the 1850s... it just never runs out. And it would be interesting to try and get forensics on them since they're lead balls... and the gun isn't exactly registered....
Looks like an ordinary revolver. Or at least as ordinary as any 150 year old gun could. And yet... there's a reason it's a family heirloom.
And now, it's even library appropriate with a silencer!
This Artifact can be used as a handgun. It is roughly the same size as a handgun and just as difficult to conceal.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +4 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
The spirit of Karl pours out from the book, his full frame standing tall he slams the hilt of his axe into the ground and echoes the words of his master with a booming voice. Compelling beasts who hear it into submitting.
Exert your Mind and spend a Free Action. Select a non-Sapient, Animate target within 20 feet.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands must be relatively simple and within the target’s intellectual grasp. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
If targeting a Sapient target that counts as a Creature due to an Effect, you must succeed a contested Mind roll. You roll at Difficulty 6, and the target rolls at Difficulty 8
The Tillnghast Resonator within the Viper prototype can charge darts with T radiation, allowing them to "slide" across extra-dimensional space. While this does involve a risk of T-Radiation to the environment, that concern was tabled for later development.
T Radiation can allow a single dart to carry greater payloads, arc over obstacles, ignore firing conditions in local dimensional space, & strike with unnatural accuracy, in part guided by the will imprint on the wielder.
Project Report: The Resonator is a wonder! We should be able to pull any defense contract we can find once they see the applications of the arm & it's cybernetic guidance system. Sara complains about hallucinations & has begun prattling about some imaginary friend she calls "Chitari" - I will need to increase the shielding in later models.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact and engaged in combat with Dart Gun.
You receive +2 dice to all rolls using Dart Gun. Reloading is considered a Free Action.
You also gain the following effects:
The user holds this spherical chunk of stone and squeezes it will all their might over an injury. The stone glows red and becomes more jagged, and cuts into the user's hands. A red fluid oozes from the stone, covering the wound and forming a strange stone-like scab overtop.
"Like getting blood from a stone" - Figure of speech, when it is extremely difficult because of the mood of the person you are dealing with.

Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend 1 minute. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Brawn + Brawl at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
When fired the muzzle flash is a strange magenta, and the wounds left by this weapon glow with that same magenta. Any armor the target is wearing seems come apart at the seams with in a flash of yellow energy. If the armor is organic, it softens to the point of loosing it's protective qualities.
This gun used to be Josephine's trusty side arm she picked up after leaving the force, but it seems to have shifted to try to fulfill a different purpose. It's trigger feels heavier than usual, causing more difficulty than one would expect in actually firing it. The trigger only gets heavier when it's aiming at a human target. It seems Redemption has molded itself to Josephine's desires, and has dedicated itself to helping her grow beyond her roots as a police officer. The gun cannot speak but it has a mind of its own, and requires a connection to another sapient creature in order to sustain itself.
This Artifact can be used as a handgun. It is roughly the same size as a handgun but can be collapsed into a lighter decorated with pyschedlic art depicting the ghost of a police officer and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +4 Weapon Damage.
This item is a living thing. When targeted, it counts as a Living Creature in addition to its other target types. If destroyed or abandoned for more than two days, it dies and becomes unusable.
You also gain the following effects:
The spy can do up their passport to appear as any valid form of identification.
This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a passport but can be collapsed into a wallet and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Spend a Quick Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into a chosen Object. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
When used as identification and scanned, the scanner will act appropriately and bring up appropriate generic information. Further searches for the identity in the computer will turn up no results. This will not open security doors on its own.
The survivalist has depended on the Bug-out Bag for so long, they've formed a powerful bond with the pack. This bond renders the pack unbreakable, and grants the survivalist an understanding of what direction it's in at all times.
This Artifact cannot be broken. If this Artifact is lost and in no one else’s possession, it finds its way back to its true owner during the next Downtime.
By default, the creator of this Artifact is its true owner. The true owner may formally bequeath this Artifact onto another person within arm’s reach, after which they are its true owner. If the true owner dies or is destroyed, their ownership ends. If this Artifact has no true owner, anyone may spend one day attuning to it to become its true owner.
This Artifact's true owner is always aware of the direction and distance to this Artifact.
Companions gawk at the sheer size and quantity of the equipment the survivalist stores in the Bug-out Bag, but when they open it, they find only a standard set of survival gear. Only when the survivalist opens it is its true capacity revealed.
This Artifact holds 5 times what it normally could inside of it. Objects stored inside are weightless.
Living things can be stored in this Artifact. They will have access to anything else inside and may attempt to break free, damaging or destroying the Artifact in the process.
If this Artifact is destroyed, things inside may get out, and it will cease to function until it is repaired.
When scanned or investigated without opening, the contents of this container appear normal and unremarkable.
If anyone other than you opens the container, it appears empty. Others can still destroy it to get at the contents.
The De-Neuralizer is a small silver device that can emanate a bright flash of light. Any being that looks into it with uncovered eyes has their most recent period of the their memory set into a highly over-writable state for a moment. While in this state, their memories may be overwritten at will.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location within within arm's reach. All Sapient targets within 20 feet are affected. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is looking directly into the device with uncovered eyes. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the most recent 1 hour from your target’s memory is either replaced with new memories or forgotten entirely. This is recorded as a Condition. The level of detail and completeness of the alteration depends on your Outcome. If you fail, the target realizes that you are attempting to alter their memories.
The period is chosen either by time (i.e. “last Friday night”) or by reference to a specific event (i.e. “when the murder occurred”).
The lightning bracers can be activated to summon a thunderbolt into the wearer's hand. Throwing these thunderbolts makes an incredibly loud boom. Once a thunderbolt is in hand, the wearer can throw as many as they wish. The electricity from these bolts will jump between nearby targets.
This Artifact produces ephemeral projectiles that can be used as a javelin.
Attack by rolling Brawn + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
