Comicbook Charm "Let's just talk things through!"
As a superhero, Alan is able to express himself far better than he can normally. The raw power of his personality is enough to bend the rules of the world around him-- things instead operating as they would in a TV show or comic book. The emotional states, as well as truths/lies he can ascertain from others appears as a set of narrating text bubbles from Alan's perspective.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are in your Superhero Form and you have your animated, circular eyes.
Your Charisma rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: You are bound to uphold your moral code. Whenever you fail a Murder, Lifesaver, or Injustice limit check, you psychosomatically take a Severity 1 Injury.
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Anime: You may have a 30 second conversation with another character on your initiative each Round in Combat, and using any Communication Effect takes a Free Action instead of a full Action.
- Call me Senpai: You may ask to be called by a specific title. Sapient beings will use this title when addressing you, unless they Exert their Mind to resist for the day. You may use an Influence Effect on anyone who uses your title without Exerting your Mind. One free activation per individual per day.
- Honest Eyes: Your word is accepted as honest so long as you are speaking the truth as you understand it. You can always tell if someone telling a lie without making a roll, though you may not know what they are concealing
- Me, an Empath: You have an intuitive understanding of the emotional state of any Animate being within 30 feet. Once per person per day you may roll Charisma + Influence to learn what things they respect or disrespect in others.
- Party Animal: You are welcome at, and will be granted entrance to, any social gathering or party, at least as an observer.
- The Price Of Fame: Any sightings or recordings of your activity can easily be traced back to you. Even when disguised or using an alias, people always get a Perception check to recognize you.
- On its own, your empath abilities do not allow you to detect lies.
- A "social gathering" might include a birthday party, after-work drinks, a ski trip, or yoga in the park, among other things. It likely would not include a cult gathering to summon a demon, Congressional negotiations over a contentious bill, etc.
- If your animated, circular eyes is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.

You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Charisma rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
You also gain the following effects:

Vampiric Charm
Why would I lie? God would not agree with that.
Whether he is trying to lie, or is simply telling the truth, no one can get a proper read on him, even when it comes down to the supernatural notes. And whenever someone tries to call him out on something, there is always someone to stand up for him.

- No Choice But To Stan: If someone speaks or acts against you socially, anyone observing it must roll Mind, with the difficulty equal to your Charisma, in order to not defend you.
- Poker Face: You reveal only what you want to reveal. It is impossible to determine whether or not you are lying. You may roll Charisma + Performance to resist any investigative Effect that targets you. If you successfully resist, you determine the info they get.
- Being forced to Stan will not force someone to violate any of their Limits or to engage in violence of any kind (though they may still do so of their own volition).
- In rare cases, GMs may require you to make a roll to lie to particularly powerful beings.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
Opening Argument
Not noticeably visible, becomes stone-faced as if he's in court and turns on his manipulative charm. His expressions and body posture is similar to how he would be in court too. In a sense, he always brings the court with him, wherever he goes.

Empathic sense
To touch you must first be able to feel
Ria has a sense for the minds and emotions of the people around her. She can tell what they are feeling, and when they lie. She can when she speaks exchange a lot more information quickly by directly connecting to her target's mind. She knows how she needs to behave to get what she wants (with maybe a slight psychic push or two).
This is the beginning of Ria's growth as a Psychic. After receiving some special medical care and rare nutrients and supplements, Ria's innate abilities to grow to allow her to feel the minds of those around her.
