You wind the watch. While you wind the watch, a replica of the face appears faintly over the lock you are unlocking. When you release the winding mechanism, you see the hands spin to when the lock was last unlocked. At that time, the door begins to unlock, replaying what happened during the previous unlocking. During this time, the hands spin back to the current time.
Spend two Actions performing the following ritual: You must wind the watch. As you do so, a replica of the face appears faintly over the lock you are unlocking. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

The user watches the pocket watch tick down in a irregular pattern, sharp purple eyes can be seen closing slowly as the dials spin. The user then clicks the winder once the eyes are closed and they burst open with a soft rumble, opening doors and safes with a mere gaze to feed the desires of the user.
In car form, the same is done via the headlights/taillights.
The pocket watch grows in power.

Locks are pathways designed to eventually be opened. One of the most efficient methods of saving time is finding a way to bypass these boundaries and restrictions -- the simplest being a 'lock'.

With Eliza's help, Laz can manipulate the electrical fields immediately around him to manipulate locks with any electronic control. Where this used to be achieved by manipulating an external device, subtle (and not so subtle) shifts in how his nanotech interacts with the world have enabled him to eliminated that dependency, albeit at the cost of diminished range. It's still not a terrible idea to wave his card over a reader to help add a sense of normalcy to the event, when possible. very savvy observers might notice a static spark between him and the reader or door involved, though most might just think he had scuffed his feet on some carpet.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Non-Alien electronically controlled lock within arm's reach.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open your target.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is static discharge when touching the reader or door. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
After Henry stands up from tying his shoe, you've got the faintest feeling that you saw a pair of little brown furry ears on his head for a second. And maybe also a longish, brown and cream striped.. tail? No, it couldn't be. That was probably just a trick of the light.
Hey, was that door open before?
