The Sons of Salem is a loosely-organized conservative populist movement in the United States that preaches violent opposition to anything they perceive as witchcraft, demonic, or monstrous.
Blowhard podcaster Ted Gundy and former general of the mercenary group “Hognose,” Roland Rush, founded the movement in 2010 after a series of violent werewolf attacks and unexplained, supernatural murders in Tennessee. Memberships grew quickly, stoked by Ted’s fiery doomsday rhetoric on his podcast "Truth Seekers" and the aspiration of the masculine power embodied by Roland.
Although they speak of duty, honor, and maintaining the “natural order” of things, the Sons of Salem are driven by fear. They collect guns and appear at protests en-masse as a way of easing the all-consuming terror of their powerlessness. At the same time, they have conditioned themselves to respond to fear with “strength” (read: violence).

Ted's movements seem to blur together, as if the framerate of reality isn't quite fast enough to keep up with him, allowing him to perform feats such as the quickdraw with inhuman speed.

The user permanently has their reflexes and reaction time heightened by drawing upon the power of Erebus, the god of shadows and darkness.
The user invokes the power of the dark arts, permanently shrouding themselves in a very subtle veil of shadow. This shadowy aura enhances their speed and reaction time, their movements may seem to blur or flicker. The air around them feels colder, and subtle, dark streaks trail behind their rapid movements. To onlookers, the user appears to move in a fluid, almost surreal manner, as if time itself bends around them.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Dexterity rating is increased by 2. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Dexterity (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Unusual Presentation.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Compulsive Liar.
You also gain the following effects:
- Reactionary: You gain an additional Reaction each Round. You cannot take an Action after taking a Reaction.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
Brawn

Your Brawn rating is increased by 3. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Brawn (cannot be used on combat rolls or Effect activations).

- High Constitution: You gain +2 dice to any Body resistance rolls. Any failed or botched Body rolls will instead give an outcome of 1.

Your Dexterity rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Dexterity (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: cut horizontally across nose and Gash in Chest like a bear swipe.
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Centered: You have perfect balance. You cannot be knocked over, and can maintain your footing regardless of the size or stability of the material underneath you.
- Infinity-Jointed: Your body is incredibly flexible, allowing you to maneuver and squeeze through tight spots as if you were the size of a cat, and you get +3 dice to rolls which require extreme flexibility, such as escaping grapples.
- Track Star: You may always move at your full Dash speed without any penalty.
- Reminder: to calculate the distance you can dash in one Round of combat, add together Dexterity + Brawn + 1, and multiply that by 5 feet.
- If your Dragon Tattoo on forearm snaking around to shoulder is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
