As Lucian, the vegan vampire, stands in the cool nighttime breeze, he takes a moment to embrace the darkness and open his heightened senses to the world around him. His keen vampire senses enable him to perceive details that elude ordinary humans.
With his supernatural olfactory senses, Lucian can detect the subtlest scents in the air. He inhales deeply, letting the myriad aromas flow through him. His nose twitches slightly as he distinguishes the scent of humans nearby, their individual nuances and the unique composition of their blood calling out to him.
Lucian's ethically driven nature means he won't harm humans, but he can still appreciate the complexity of their scents and the richness of their life forces. In this moment, he doesn't feast, but rather, he relishes the connection to the living world, a world he navigates with a sense of responsibility and compassion.

The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when activated, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants.
