When a corner of the business card is ripped off, a visual and auditory connection to Jacob Sterns is being created. The dialogue partner will appear like a small hologram on each participants shoulder and can be switched to a video feed of the partner's eyes. To close the line, rip off another corner of the business card or destroy it fully. Loses its power if Jacob Sterns dies.

Made in Great Britain.
Spend an Action and use up this Business Card. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless you call Jacob Sterns.
You open up a line of communication to your target, and may converse with them as long as one of you maintains Concentration
The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
The user opens the leather journal and points at the creature as their species and location becomes written on the journal along with the current time and a ??? indicating when the possession will end, when it's finished being written the shadow of the user and the creature will merge to create a patch of darkness that slowly becomes material and begins restraining the creature with fully physical tendrils. These tendrils bind the creature to the ground as the user is pushed into a fit of vomiting out blackish slime and blood. As more of the substance leaves the body the more the user becomes lethargic until the point of unconsciousness. The substance then merges into one full blob and enters the creature's body through their mouth at which point they're fully taken over by the user.
Spend an Action to activate. Select a Creature target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use A leather journal to activate this Effect.
You possess your target and have control over their actions for the next hour. Your original body will be left behind, unconscious, in its same location. You may spend a Committed Action to end the possession early.
Stats: Any actions you take will use the possessed creature’s Brawn, Dexterity, and Perception, but use your own Charisma, Intellect, and Abilities.
Gifts: You do not have access to any Gifts while you are possessing your target.
Death: If the host becomes incapacitated or is destroyed, you are forcibly evicted back into your own body. If the possession ends and your original body was killed or destroyed in some way, you will die.
Eviction: You cannot force your host to take actions which would violate their instinct for self-preservation (which includes engaging in Combat for any purpose other than self-defense or natural hunting); any attempt to do so will sever the connection and send you back into your own body. If you are forced out of the target's body prematurely, you must make a Trauma roll.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see you forcefully restraining a creature with inky black tendrils, vomiting out your own slimy spirit out and inserting it into the creature.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The user kisses the cross as an explosion of blackness culminates around the user and the patient. The user lays the opposing side on the patient's lips as hellish and angelic energy converges into the patient, drawing out their sin (damage to their body) and ripping it out in the form of all their inner demons and sins of the past as it fills the one of the red gemstones on the cross, turning it black.
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Select a Living, Animate, or Dead target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you the user's heart gets hit with a condensed form of energy (severity 4). Your target must also Exert their Mind to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Brawn + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
If you begin healing an Injury on a target that has been dead for less than a minute, and your healing reduces their Wound Level to a non-lethal level, their life is restored.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see hellish and angelic energy converges into the patient, drawing out their sin (damage to their body) and ripping it out in the form of all their inner demons and sins of the past.
Kalist uses his position as a mob enforcer to make deals that reduce the particpant's debt.
You may make an oath with any number of physically-present, Sapient targets. Communicate the oath's terms to the targets, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must shake hands to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The targets cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the targets, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
Whenever a participant breaks the oath, you are immediately made aware and may even witness the act as if standing nearby.
It is obvious to your targets that the oath you are proposing will be supernaturally enforced.
The same terms and penalties must apply to every party in each deal.
Mary produces mutated STDs she suffered from in her time as a slave. Blisters, boils, burning, and rotting flesh. The only remedy is the symbol of care from someone of the opposite sex. Even a single tear on the victims body will do to break the curse.
This Effect activates whenever being physically handled with the intent to harm. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Living target within 25 feet. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes any number of the following symptoms:
The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by Tears from the opposite sex.
Be it a mobile phone, desktop, vending machine, somehow if the OS can be on a machine it will be when Eun-Ha interacts with it. Even if the device wasn't originally hers or in her possession long enough for her to have downloaded or uploaded it.
As it can only work on Leng system locale it will automatically change the locale of any system it interacts with before any command is issued. Afterwards any machine or device within 300 feet is beholden to the system. No exceptions. Except for those most alien for now...
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Device within 300 feet. Does not work on Alien technology. You must actively and obviously use an electronic device capable of some form of internet or networking to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.
You may issue a "self-destruct" command that leaves the hacked system's hardware inoperable, even if that machine had no such functionality previously. Only works on Computers.
When targeting non-computer devices, you may operate switches, buttons, dials, levers, and latches.
Every hack you make leaves behind an impossible locale in the system as a personal "calling card" that informs anyone who uses the system that the hack occurred.
The Vampire is able to turn one of their victims into a lesser vampire, a pale shadow of a full creature of the night but useful nonetheless. Having drained and killed their target, the Vampire performs a brief ritualistic bloodletting, wherein they spill their own blood into the target's mouth, forcing them to drink, and bonding them together as child and sire.
Shortly afterwards, the fledgling vampire will rise from death, hungry for blood and eager to serve.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach that has died within the last hour. This Effect cannot be used unless you drained the target's blood while they were still alive.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion. The raised creature must consume flesh every day or it will die again.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Your revived targets deal 2 Weapon Damage with their unarmed attacks.
Who wouldn't want one of the mad scientist's famous implants? All it takes is a little time and a few terrifying experiments, and you too could be a better you!
Warning: not fully tested on humans. Risk of dry mouth, upset stomach, or lost limbs. Do not consult your doctor before signing the liability release.
Exert your Mind and spend eight hours. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you cause a major Battle Scar instead of an augmentation. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
The Witch gazes at a calm and trusting animal and blinks, revealing eyes that have changed to match the creature's. Her body goes limp and collapses, and the witch proceeds to walk away, now temporarily borrowing the animal's body.
A borrowing Witch is a visitor in the animal's mind and cannot overstay her welcome or force the animal into danger.
Spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Creature target within 20 feet. The target may Resist.
You possess your target and have control over their actions for the next hour. Your original body will be left behind, unconscious, in its same location. You may perceive through your original body's senses, at a -2 penalty to all Actions while doing so. If your original body is touched, you get a Perception check to notice. You may spend an Action to end the possession early.
Stats: Any Actions you take will use the possessed creature’s Brawn, Dexterity, and Perception, but use your own Charisma, Intellect, and Abilities.
Gifts: You do not have access to any Gifts while you are possessing your target.
Death: If the host suffers an Injury, or is destroyed or incapacitated, you are evicted back into your own body. If the possession ends and your original body was killed or destroyed, you will die.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The detective pulls out their magnifying glass and investigates the area, learning details about any nearby structures and picking up details on what sorts of beings have passed through and when.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet You must actively and obviously use a magnifying glass to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
Doc puts his hands on you and begins to mutter to himself in french. The effect is instant and horrible. You begin to remember all of the sins of your past, all the ways that you've wronged those who loved you. All of the terrible, evil things you've done on these contracts in order to survive. Doc seems to be in the grips of similar memories, tears running down his chin and dripping onto his hands that are pressed tightly against you. At the point where your mind feels like it's about to break, it's over. Just as quickly as it began. You feel your wounds begin to close.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Medicine at Difficulty 6.
