Edward can investigate the details of a murder scene and reconstruct the evidence in his mind as if he was the murderer to see how it would have happened and guess the murderer’s state of mind/motive/psychological profile. While this is happening he acts accordingly to if he was truly living the experience, stepping where the killer seemingly would have been etc. (other than actually commuting a murder obviously)
Spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet This Effect cannot be used unless only works in a murder site. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. At the end of your investigation, roll Brawn + Alertness at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
Casey is innately in tune with his ability to catch and throw his throwing knives, they can even come back to him.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with throwing knives.
+2 dice to all rolls utilizing throwing knives.
You also gain the following effects:
Tom whips out his gun in a blink of an eye, careful now, you just might die.
You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with firearms.
+2 dice to all firearms rolls.
You also gain the following effects:
Delphyrion crushes a clock and watches as the quartz debris tears holes into the space-time continuum. They peer into the bounds between the living and the dead, the seams that separate parallel timelines, and the space from one dimension to the next.
Contractors draw their power from their parallel selves, so naturally upon death, said power disperses once again to take a new form. Something about the Law of Conservation of Matter.
They reach into everywhere and nowhere and pluck the bits of potential and ambition that the Harbingers once saw for the dead Contractor.
And they breathe it upon the corpse, for better or worse.
The act of living is quite... fickle.
What constitutes living, if not just existing? Am I not living, now that I barely exist in this realm? How cruel. In order to be remembered in this world, you HAVE to leave something behind. Something notable enough for someone alive to acknowledge. Your life and death will always rest in another's hand.
So let's conduct a little experiment. From here on out, you're... not quite alive, but you exist. Go and figure out your place in this cruel world, see how valuable you are now that people realize they've taken you for granted. Be seen.
And realize that once again, you're trapped in a mortal shell, with more shackles than before. You'll understand what it's like to be fundamentally different. Even more so, you're another one of my endless projects now.
Exert your Mind, spend one minute, and select a specific place, person, or item within arm’s reach. Select a Dead target within arm's reach with at least half its skeletal structure remaining. This Effect cannot be used unless it is an odd hour (e.g., 1:34, 3:00, 5:13 are allowed, but not 2:00, 6:11, 10:46). You must use up a quartz clock in order to activate this Effect.
Your target rises as an Animate being. They remember their past life and retain their same personality. They can communicate as they would have been able to in life. They may roll Mind, Difficulty 8, to resist any commands you give them.
The creature lasts until it strays at least 80 feet from the chosen place, person, or item or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have all their Abilities set to 0. Their Attributes are all the same as they were in life, except Dexterity, which is fixed at 1. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
Neil's heart is now a withered, blackened thing, calcified flesh and congealed blood making it a solid core. So long as it persists, Neil's soul is capable of clinging to the mortal world, but if it is destroyed, he is banished. Even when "slain", his body continues to function.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
If you would take an Injury that would kill you, you don’t die. Instead, you survive in an Incapacitated state. This state lasts for the next hour, at which point you fully return to life. Unstabilized Injuries do not degrade while you are Incapacitated
While Incapacitated, your only weakness is the destruction of your withered, blackened heart, and if you take Damage from it, you will die. Damage from other sources will still be dealt and can cause Battle Scars, but will only kill you if your body is destroyed completely. If your weakness is not immediately obvious, attackers may roll to discover it. After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.
Charlie invokes the secret language of the beast, and uses a combination of audible sounds, sub-sonic communication and body language to communicate unto a creature how it would with another of its species.
Due to spiraling mutations and the recent information that had come to light about the actions of Genwyld, Charlie had stopped taking her pills that were supplied after every contract. And yet, when this almost drove her to retirement, someone happened that nobody expected. Voices from the trees, the birdsong itself was made language to her, as vulgar as they were. The animal sounds made while fully transformed? Those were understandable as well. Every noise by every beast were now a language she could hear if she took the time to listen.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You may understand and communicate to terrestrial animals as if you are fluent in a relevant language.
While transformed, the werewolf's toughened hide provides protection from all manner of attacks, except silver.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are in werewolf form.
You have 4, which reduces incoming damage from all sources of physical attack except silver. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. This Armor cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.
Any Injury received from Damage that was reduced by this Armor is considered Makeshift Stabilized and will not degrade further, and any Battle Scar caused by them is reduced by 1 level. You may attempt a single Proper Stabilization on such Injuries.
The Psychic can speak directly into someone's mind, engaging in an entirely telepathic conversation. While they do, they take on a blank, vacant stare in the direction of their target, and appear to be muttering gibberish to themselves under their breath.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless you can see your target.
You open up a line of communication to your target, and may converse with them as long as one of you maintains Concentration
The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
The pyro points a laser pointer towards a target, and a cat-sized-and-shaped fire springs into life, very clearly attracted to the laser. This flame cat can also be shaped from existing fires. While the pointer is active it remains in the shape of a cat, pouncing towards the little red dot. When the laser pointer is not active, the flames return to normal.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 20 feet which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire). You must actively and obviously use a laser pointer to activate this Effect.
You may start or extinguish a fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace at your target. Extinguishing a fire does not cost Exertion. You may create or extinguish fires the size of a lighter or candle flame without Exerting your Mind. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 3 Damage each Round on your turn, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be shredded by any Damage dealt, destroying material Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
You may spend a Free Action on your initiative move a fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace that is within 20 feet to another location within 20 feet. You may Exert your Mind to draw a line which a fire up to twice as large as a fire in a residential fireplace cannot cross.
Most severe injuries occur far from a facility that could treat them, and in the fetid muck of the battlefield even minor wounds may be a death sentence. Luckily the soldier is well-trained in the use of their standard-issue medical kit. They may stabilize even the most severe injuries with a little gauze and some no-anesthetic stitching. Furthermore, the treated wounds of their comrades never get infected.
You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using a standard issue military medical kit to gain the benefits of this Effect.
All Stabilizations you attempt are considered Proper Stabilizations.
You also gain the following effects:
You never know whether or not the musician's death is merely part of the performance.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
If you would take an Injury that would kill you, you don’t die. Instead, you survive in an Incapacitated state. This state lasts for the next hour, at which point you fully return to life. Unstabilized Injuries do not degrade while you are Incapacitated
If, while you are unconscious, your wound level rises above your rating in Body + Charisma, or if you take an Injury with Severity greater than your rating in Charisma, you die. After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.
