This Artifact allows you to detect all nearby Magical Weapons and Weapons.
Used by Jacob Sterns, Created by Protean.
On Legendary Artifact Swordbreaker Piercing.
(You must use this Artifact obviously when activating this Effect.)

The piercing glows with green light for a moment and the user's eyecolor on that side changes to green for the duration of the effect. If the effect gets triggered automatically there's just a green spark in the user's eye for a moment.

To effectively remove weapons you need to know where they are. The user of this artifact will see all guns around them with green outlines through walls, clothes and bodies and can inspect them further if they "touch" them with their mind.

You automatically detect all Magical Weapons and Weapons within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

Community Detect Objects Gifts

Louis's introduction to the contracting world being so rife with artifacts has made him question what else may be out there, and curious to find more, he's begun digging into ways to do so. This gift is the harbinger's answer to his request for a way to sate that curiosity.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Transcribing details about the area into the scanner. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Artifacts and Cursed Objects within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any Artifacts or Cursed Objects come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

Even if there are no Artifacts or Cursed Objects within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute.

You automatically detect all sources of major environmental contamination and weapons of mass destruction within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

Even if there are no sources of major environmental contamination or weapons of mass destruction within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

The means by which any sources of major environmental contamination and weapons of mass destruction are hidden or disguised is made clear to you, as well as how to access them if they are secured. This includes objects secured via the Stash Effect.

  • This includes any objects that come into range during activation.
  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

You automatically detect all Evidence of Crime within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.

Use up this ________ and spend an Action to activate.

You automatically detect all ________ within 50 feet of you for the next ten minutes. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any ________ come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

  • This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: throwing the card around, flipping it through the fingers as phantom whispers "cmon baby, show me my fortune today~". You must actively and obviously use Card to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Surveillance Devices within 300 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

If no Surveillance Devices targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

  • This includes any objects that come into range during activation.
  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

You automatically detect all illegal materials within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.

  • This includes any objects that come into range during activation.
  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up a container of fine powder in order to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all object that are designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.
