The stash is a closed treasure chest tattoo’d on Vel’s chest/ abdomen. They can flip the latch on it by rubbing a finger over it, then stash by placing the item to their tattoo, or reaching into their tattoo to pull items out
This power is an application of vel’a ability to enchant items with effects related to their symbolism applied to ink and a drawing on their own body.
The tattoo must be of a storage device
The ritual involves
- getting the tattoo
- getting a large object that matches the tattoo in appearance
- do a ritual which involves the destruction of the large box
- have around many references to secret stashes, and objects that are bigger inside than out.
Although this is themed as an enchantment, Vel cannot do it to others or multiple times (without a separate gift), it’s just flavor for how they managed to get this power.
Spend an Action.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
With a bestial roar, Grace allows her affliction to overpower her. Her bones snap, her flesh morphs and tears itself apart, and ultimately, she takes the body of a monstrous, humanoid shark. After her transformation ends, she rapidly shrinks and shifts back into her regular human form.
(The image is unfortunately AI https://www.deviantart.com/chrisd19/art/Wereshark-968134116 but it fits well enough :-;)
Exert your Mind and spend a Quick Action.
You transform into a wereshark for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a wereshark, and you can use your equipment. The Injuries and Battle Scars of your Alternate Form and your true form are tracked separately.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 2. Your Stress is reduced by 2.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -1).
If you are restricted, restrained, dazed, sleepy, or stunned, you may activate this Effect to break free or end the negative effect. You cannot free yourself by transforming more than once a minute.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see the brutal, visceral transformation of a shark monster.
Your alternate form renders you unable to speak any human language and incapable of fine object manipulation. You can only hold or grasp objects in a crude, clumsy way.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Gilled Stomach: The flesh of your stomach is lined and exposed like a shark's gills. Called shots against your stomach do +2 damage. If an attack hits you which could conceivably hit your stomach, roll 1d10 at Difficulty 6. If you fail, the attack hits your soft spot and does +2 damage.
While transformed, you automatically fail any Mind roll to resist an impulse and suffer -3 dice on all other Mind rolls.
Mako's eyes turn into their sockets, like a shark after a kill, and he leaks a runny dark red substance similar to blood
You gain the following benefits at all times.
If you would take an Injury that would kill you, you don’t die. Instead, you survive in an Incapacitated state. This state lasts for the next hour, at which point you fully return to life.
If, while you are unconscious, your wound level rises above your rating in Body + Dexterity, or if you take an Injury with Severity greater than your rating in Dexterity, you die. After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.
Veins on the contractor's forehead bulge up and thicken.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use Special Esper Headband to activate this Effect.
You can interact with things that are within 75 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Lasts for two hours. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 4 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 2 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.
Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Migranes.
As a sorcerer you must know how to master the technique of the ghosts, and find ways to counter them. This is just one of the ways.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You get +2 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
A shadow figure with surgical tools appears making sure the wound is exactly the same as the targets. This also slowly causes the target to heal fully healed upon completion of the wound infliction on the user.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you It causes the user to be paralysed for the next 8 turns. Your target may Resist to cancel the transfer.
You may choose one each of as many things as you like from the following to transfer from your target to yourself, or from yourself to them:
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see The wounds are slowly and painfully placed upon the user taking 4 turns..
Once the werewolf tastes the blood of their prey, there's no escape. Those injured by the beast's claws and teeth are marked with its saliva. Their wounds smell strongly of blood, and it's only a matter of time before the werewolf returns with a vengeance to finish the kill.
This Effect activates whenever a target you have injured with your teeth or claws escapes the range of your unarmed attacks. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a target within arm's reach. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is alive and bleeds.
Your target is marked with a throbbing wound that smells strongly of blood. The mark can only be discovered with a deep medical inspection or Effect. Removal inflicts a Severity 1 Injury on the target.
You are aware of the marked target's direction and distance from you. This lasts for the next month, or until either the mark is removed, or you choose to end the Effect. You can have up to 1 mark active.
You receive +2 dice to any rolls made against a marked target.
Come one, come all! Stand in amazement and behold as the Fire Eater consumes a flame as if it were cotton candy! Gasp with fright as they breathe a plume of fire a great distance! And yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is quite dangerous.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: perform a fire-breathing trick. Select a target within 20 feet which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire). Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you take a Severity-4 Injury as the fire burns your throat. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You may start or extinguish a fire as large as a firepit's fire at your target. Extinguishing a fire does not cost Exertion. You may create or extinguish fires the size of a lighter or candle flame without Exerting your Mind. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 4 Damage each Round on your turn, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be shredded by any Damage dealt, destroying material Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
The detective has trained their eyes to notice the smallest of details.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
Unimportant characters just can't seem to hit our hero with their attacks. Injuries that are sustained from underlings are conveniently non-severe.
You gain the following benefits as long as the attacker isn't important enough to have a name.
You have 4 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. This Armor cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.
Who wouldn't want one of the mad scientist's famous implants? All it takes is a little time and a few terrifying experiments, and you too could be a better you!
Warning: not fully tested on humans. Risk of dry mouth, upset stomach, or lost limbs. Do not consult your doctor before signing the liability release.
Exert your Mind and spend eight hours. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you cause a major Battle Scar instead of an augmentation. Your target must make a Trauma roll to reap the benefits of this Effect. They may choose to Resist the Effect and not make the roll. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
