Harry must use the tool (In the case of his uncle's marked multitool, probably the knife or metal file thereof) to etch the same bindrune into an object. This takes him about 10 minutes. At the end, he focuses his mind to infuse the new rune precisely with his power and intent (made more difficult if the object is already suffused with otherworldly power), and both begin to faintly glow. If he has carved and infused the rune properly it will glow faintly and become a nature part of the object (embossed, stamped, or part of the design of the paint or finish, but appearing as though it belongs) and the object will be restored to a proper state and function. Failure will see the rune harmlessly spark out and remain a crude carving.
Spend 10 minutes. Select a Object within arm's reach that is no larger than an SUV. You may target Alien technology, so long as you have an understanding of its intended function. When repairing Alien targets, you must Exert your Mind. You must actively and obviously use A tool marked with a bindrune of ᛐᛒ to activate this Effect. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target.
The outlaws been through tougher scrapes than this. A few cuts and bruises won't stop them.
You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using a valuable looking locket to gain the benefits of this Effect.
Your Stress from Injuries is reduced to 0. Does not reduce Stress from Mind Damage.
While Incapacitated, you may Exert your Mind to take a single action.
If you are Stunned, asleep, drugged, or otherwise made unconscious for any reason other than being Incapacitated, you may Exert your Mind to wake up. Any penalty which was caused by this condition is removed.
The fusion core replaces the need for nutrient intake or nightly shut-down, but it still needs oxygen to burn.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You no longer require any food, water, or sleep in order to survive.
when bullets fly and hit Jamison, they warp the flesh around the enter wound, turning it into a temporary solid putty-like state, reducing the ill effects of being shot by quite a bit.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You have 6 Armor, which only reduces damage taken from Bullets. Any armor piercing effects from Bullets are ignored. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. This Armor cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.
When activated there is a visual tremor that shudders through the substrate the nail is embedded in - this immediately bring on the fear of enclosed spaces in all those effected. Edgar sets the trap by scratching a sigil on the head of the nail, then hammers it into a surface with his fist. Anyone who concentrates on the sigil can freely pass these traps without setting them off.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to trap a region of any shape that contains your current location and fits entirely within 20 feet. This trap lasts until triggered or disarmed. This Effect cannot be used unless you set it in an enclosed area. You must use up a coffin nail in order to activate this Effect.
The trap looks like a coffin nail driven into a surface. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.
Any Sapient target that enters within 20 feet will trigger the trap. All Sapient targets within 20 feet of them are also affected. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.
If they fail, affected targets will take 1 point of Mind damage and gain Claustrophobia as a Trauma. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
Cletus Castill is a living portal to a pocket dimension packed with infinite meat. When injured, his body explodes outwards to repair the wound with way too much flesh. It's quite a sight.
You gain the following benefits as long as the healing is a product of accessing the flesh pocket dimension and whenever an Injury heals due to this effect, you receive a dice penalty to your next three actions equal to the severity of the Injury healed, as the flesh rends apart explosively. If the Injury recieved is due to an effect which rots flesh, mutates it or would cause it to rapidly change, this penalty lasts for twice as long, and takes 10 minutes to heal. Effects which anchor a target to reality are not healed by this effect.
Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level each Round. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active automatically count as a successful Proper Stabilization and do not deteriorate further. Any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will heal with the Injury.
As long as at least half your body remains intact, you cannot die and remain at Incapacitated, regardless of how many Injuries you take. It is clear to observers that you are still alive.
You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 2. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Meat Phobia: If you would need to consume meat, you must succeed on a Self-Control roll or vomit.
The Ninja is so attuned to the sounds of their surroundings, they may focus their mind to "see" using the subtle acoustic vibrations.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
The toon shouts a catchphrase, strikes a pose, and then zips away at a high speed, leaving a cloud of dust behind. While moving, they look like a blur.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is doubled.
The mystic enters a meditation while focusing on a remote location. A glowing sigil of an eye appears on their forehead, and a ghostly image of themselves meditating appears at the location they are envisioning. For a brief period, they may see the area they are projecting to as though they were standing there.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target Location within 75 feet.
You may perceive things as if you were standing at that Location. The effect lasts indefinitely but you must maintain Concentration to keep it up. You cannot perceive anything at your physical location while the effect is active.
You create a visible manifestation at the Location where your senses are projected which looks like a ghostly image of yourself meditating.
The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
The werewolf unleashes their inner beast, transforming into an imposing hybrid of human and wolf. Their head reforms into that of a wolf, robbing them of speech but bestowing a maw of deadly fangs. Grey fur sprouts from their body as it swells with muscle, ripping any tight-fitting clothes. While transformed, the werewolf is impulsive and driven more by instinct than logic.
If The Werewolf is struck my moonlight, they are compelled to transform.
Exert your Mind and spend a Quick Action.
You transform into a werewolf for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a werewolf, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1 and your Dexterity is increased by 1. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -2).
Your alternate form renders you unable to speak any human language and incapable of fine object manipulation. You can only hold or grasp objects in a crude, clumsy way.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
While transformed, you automatically fail any Mind roll to resist an impulse and suffer -3 dice on all other Mind rolls.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Whenever you are struck by the light of a full or gibbous moon, you must roll Self-Control to resist transforming. Triggers a max of once per night.
