(Activating this Effect is not obvious. The only sign you are using an Effect is a golden sheen in the eyes of you and any animals you are communicating with. )

You can speak to and understand any animal. Others who witness cannot make out what you are saying, just incomprehensible nonsense to anyone who cannot also commune with animals. Not words or babbling, more grunts and random mouth and throat noises. The animals only seem to make occasional, natural noises, not even constant. To most this just seems like weird "animal whisperer" behavior and is dismissed as such.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a terrestrial animal target within 50 feet.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is a golden sheen in the eyes of you and any animals you are communicating with. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

  • Communing with terrestrial animal does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Community Commune Gifts

Usually, she helps those she speaks to move on. When this happens, they are led through to what's next before they die again. This doesn't usually come up on contract, however.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. For dead targets, you must possess their name or a piece of their remains.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.

You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient being, human, or Dead target within arm's reach. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession. This Effect cannot be used unless Alternate Form.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using Imperial Raiment to gain the benefits of this Effect.

You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Loyal Subjects.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action. Select a Sapient being, human, Creature, or Dead target within 50 feet. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.

The target can communicate in your language for the next 30 seconds.

You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
