One With Wild One for the Bears

1
The power to transform into a non-humanoid creature.
Used by Conk, Created by SoothingCoder.
(Your transition from one form to the next is obvious to all observers. While transformed, you are obviously unusual, unnatural, or alien, and the average person will take a special interest in you. You must actively and obviously be using A Bear Claw Necklace.)

The beastmaster shouts, and their human voice cracks into a deep, bestial roar. Their body swells with muscle, clothes melting into a thick pelt of fur. Seconds later the beastmaster is gone. Standing in their place is a massive grizzly bear.

However, even in human form the beast within remains close to the surface, and the beastmaster finds highly civilized social situations unbearable.

Due to a kink in the necklace the bear form is partially incomplete the bear still runs on two legs and his fur color is a slight teal color with blonde fur on the top of the head and around the tail and mouth region of the bear he is almost wearbear like in action

Exert your Mind and spend a Quick Action. You must actively and obviously use A Bear Claw Necklace to activate this Effect.

You transform into A grizzly bear for two hours. You are unable to revert to your original form at will and must wait for the duration to fully elapse before returning to normal. See the Extended System text for stats.

While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (excluding Artifacts and Consumables, which you can use), and you cannot use your Active, Direct, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.

Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.

While transformed, you may speak and use any Influence or Communication Powers you posses.

While transformed, you are obviously unusual, unnatural, or alien, and the average person will take a special interest in you.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

This ritual draws from the creator's subconscious, in what the familiar looks like, acts like, and in energy to bring it into physical being. While it acts independently, it behaves as the creator expects, except in cases where the creator is in disagreement deep down with what they consciously want the familiar to do.

While fabricated from their mind and energy, no direct mental or magical link remains once called forth, and thus no backlash (as in some fiction) occurs if the familiar is destroyed. Additionally, when called again, it is in essence the same creature as before.

While appearing to be a normal bird, this familiar is not biologically alive, and functions more like a construct or a dream character made manifest.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: intricate hand motions, entreating Nik to wake up, then blowing on the focus. You must use up a self-made artistic depiction of a raven in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

Summon a single raven at your location. They will last until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 1 minion active at a time.

  • Attacking: Minions can make melee range attacks with 4 dice to attack.
  • Body: Minions have 4 Body.
  • Movement: Minions can move 45 feet per Round as Free Movement, and double that when performing an all-out Sprint. Your minions can fly at their normal movement speed.
  • Intelligence: They have dog-level intelligence, but are capable of communicating information back to you. They may use equipment.
  • Actions: Minions cannot dodge or Defend. Any Perception checks they make are rolled with 8 dice. Your minion is able to Stealth with a 7-dice pool.

After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

  • Exhaustion penalties and duration stack. If you activate this Effect or another Effect with Exhaustion, your penalty will worsen, and the duration is increased by one hour.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate.

You transform into Giant Rat for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Giant Rat, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 2.

Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Bonus Damage (instead of the typical -2).

You do not suffer any Penalty while in your Alternate Form.

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage from multiple sources does not stack. Instead, the highest Bonus is used.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must use up $1000 in order to activate this Effect.

Summon a single Men in hats at your location. They will last until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. This Artifact may have at most 2 minions active at a time.

  • Attacking: Minions can make ranged attacks at targets up to 30 feet away with 5 dice to attack and +1 Damage.
  • Body: Minions have 4 Body.
  • Movement: Minions can move 20 feet per Round as Free Movement, and double that when performing an all-out Sprint.
  • Intelligence: They have dog-level intelligence, but are capable of communicating information back to you. They cannot actively use Equipment.
  • Actions: Minions cannot dodge or Defend. Any Perception checks they make are rolled with 3 dice.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction to activate. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect.

You phase out of reality for up to 10 minutes. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world but may take mental and self-targeting Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.

When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.

  • If you use this Effect to dodge as a Reaction, it succeeds without the need for a roll.
  • You may use your Free Movement on the Round you phase back in, but you cannot take an Action.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an hour to activate. Select a Battle Scar on yourself to treat.

The treated Battle Scar will heal over the course of the next week.

Stock Activated Gifts

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You automatically detect all illegal materials within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.

  • This includes any objects that come into range during activation.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You transform into a brown bear for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.

While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Direct, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.

Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Intolerance for society. When you are in a situation with strict social protocols (like a trial or a formal dinner) roll Self-Control not to enter a flight or fight response.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is doubled.

  • Any Encumbrance penalty to your movement still applies, but you do not suffer from any sort of exhaustion.
  • Damage from a collision depends on your speed at the time, as well as what you hit. GM's discretion, but generally moving faster than a car on the freeway and hitting a dense, solid object like a wall or a tree should be lethal. Mundane armor will not apply, but any supernatural forms of protection will.

This Effect activates whenever combat begins. It does not require an Action or Exertion.

You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.

Spend a Quick Action.

You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.

You may store units of water in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.

You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.

  • "Equip" refers to drawing a gun, putting on a piece of armor, etc.
  • Containers which hold multiple things may count as a single item so long as the things within are generally packaged together. For instance, you may stash a clip full of bullets, a medical kit full of medical supplies, or a box of crackers, but you cannot stash a backpack full of miscellaneous equipment.
  • You may only attempt to store Objects which are free-standing and disconnected from other things. The use of this Effect will not allow you to sever any connections holding an Object in place.
  • The Maximum Object Size parameter is intended to roughly capture the weight / size restriction of items and isn’t intended to restrict shape. GM discretion is advised. A human being is level 4 in the Maximum Object Size parameter.
