Lorelai has gained enough control over her lycantropy to be able to use her alternate form to her advantage. Her form suddenly shifts to that of a muscular, antropomorphic wolf, turning her claws and fangs into deadly weapons and allowing her to shrug off grievous wounds.
Exert your Mind and spend a Quick Action.
You transform into a white-tailed werewolf for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a white-tailed werewolf, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -1).
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
While transformed, you automatically fail any Mind roll to resist an impulse and suffer -3 dice on all other Mind rolls.
A new feature among Sapphire Sundown units currently being rolled out, the Potential Energy Matrix is a series of wires, power cells, and motion collectors that are installed inside each unit’s chassis. The system is accessible from the unit’s back via a small panel, and makes all units entirely self-sufficient for all energy needs.
Units are still required to power down in order to give the Matrix time to properly recharge.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You no longer require any food, water, or air in order to survive. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement automatically succeeds.
Most people assume Baphomet is Vita’s familiar. He's not. He’s older than that term. He’s not here to serve—he made a deal. One that stitched his fate to Vita’s heartbeat. When she made her wish, the realms cracked open, and something lonely and fanged slipped through. Now he won’t leave. He eats her leftovers, naps on ancient artifacts, and commits minor crimes when unsupervised. She wouldn’t trade him for anything.
When summoned, Vita’s shadow stretches unnaturally long, curling at the edges like smoke. A soundless pressure ripples through the air, like a breath being held too long. From the darkness coils a black-furred cat with star-flecked markings and an infuriating grin. Tiny horns glint above his eyes, and when he takes flight, leathery wings unfurl from his back like forgotten pages of a forbidden book. He lands with the weight of inevitability and the smugness of someone who’s always right.
Baphomet isn’t a summon. He’s a consequence. A fanged pact stitched into Vita’s soul when she gave up her voice and made the mistake of longing out loud. Bound not by spell or leash, but mutual understanding, Bapha walks the line between infernal companion and spiritual parasite. He's not just intelligent—he’s opinionated, meddling, and deeply invested in keeping Vita alive, mostly because he doesn’t want to go back. Where she goes, he follows, uninvited but indispensable. Their connection is deeper than magic. It’s blood, debt, and unspoken love, forged under moonlight and written in claws.

Grace's olfactory senses have evolved tremendously due to her bestial affliction. Similar to a shark, she possesses an extraordinary sense of smell allowing her to distinguish things from scent alone, enhanced eyes that can see perfectly in the dark, and special receptors that detect electric currents and neurological activity.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses.
Whenever Dawn is about to take a heavy blow some unseen force seemingly bends reality around to her favor. Those watching carefully can see beautiful cursive script written in the air describing the event as spectral raven feathers softly fall around her. For example, the script might read out as "The tiny girl narrowly dodged the monsters claws." or "The assassin's shot missed its mark as the brave girl pushed forward."
The gift acts in a similar way to how all young adult novel protagonists seemingly survive or come out unharmed in super dangerous situations. To a certain extent, Dawn is invoking those same laws and rules found in fiction and applying it to herself. This could be considered her bending the very fabric of reality or an amplification of her own luck but regardless the end result is the same and she herself doesn't really care.
The handwriting of the script appears to be her own, as if she herself is subconsciously writing out what she wants to happen. The raven feathers that seemingly appear from no where is most likely another subconscious embellishment that Dawn would perceive as cool and edgy when in reality she's never come into contact with ravens in any meaningful way.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see Drayden roars out; his skin bursting and frame twisting as a mystical Lion bursts out from the inside, Out..

After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

The Witch gazes at a calm and trusting animal and blinks, revealing eyes that have changed to match the creature's. Her body goes limp and collapses, and the witch proceeds to walk away, now temporarily borrowing the animal's body.
A borrowing Witch is a visitor in the animal's mind and cannot overstay her welcome or force the animal into danger.
Spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Non-Alien Creature target within 20 feet. The target may Resist.
You possess your target and have control over their actions for the next hour. Your original body will be left behind, unconscious. You may perceive through your original body's senses by maintaining Concentration. If your original body is touched, you may roll Perception + Alertness to notice. You may spend an Action to end the possession early.

Targets with Body ratings higher than 10 require a Charisma + Animals roll resisted by the target’s Body. Kaiju and environment-scale targets are immune.

Doc puts his hands on you and begins to mutter to himself in french. The effect is instant and horrible. You begin to remember all of the sins of your past, all the ways that you've wronged those who loved you. All of the terrible, evil things you've done on these contracts in order to survive. Doc seems to be in the grips of similar memories, tears running down his chin and dripping onto his hands that are pressed tightly against you. At the point where your mind feels like it's about to break, it's over. Just as quickly as it began. You feel your wounds begin to close.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
The priest channels their true faith into a brutal assault on the consciousness of demonic or unholy creatures. By wielding their favored holy symbol, a gilded crucifix, they can put a proper fear of god into them, leaving them cowering at any truly holy things they encounter.
Exert your Mind (unless you have been recently attacked by your target) and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead, demonic, or another evil creature. You must actively and obviously use a gilded cross to activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Alertness Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target loses that much Source. Once their Source is depleted, excess Outcome is applied as Mind Damage. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target gains a Trauma of the GM's choice.
This trauma cannot be removed by spending Experience and undergoing mundane therapy. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.

The particulates are drawn to any sort of object that is designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc. The powder will not trigger these devices or interfere with their operation, but it does reveal their presence to the Thief.
