I take my hood (usually my hoodie but any hood should suffice) and pull it up over my head. Without tearing the fabric, the first sign of a change is any notable ears the form I'm taking may have, next a tail, then my face begins to change. Next my hands and feet change as my body changes size and takes on a coating of feathers, fur, scales, or otherwise. As I shift, my clothing and gear fade away, with my hooded clothing vanishing last. The same process goes in reverse when I turn back to human form, but rather than taking a minute to become an animal it only takes moments to revert.
The terms 'morphic resonance' and 'morphogenetic field' weren't originally coined as something connecting to animals, but they've come to symbolize a connection on a pseudo-mystical level between all animal life including humans. Is this how a pwca shapeshifts? Potentially. They have a connection, whether it's mystical, somehow biological, or otherwise. This connection lets them beccome animals, the most common being a horse, but also plenty of others such as rabbits, goats, cats, and dogs. These are just the animals humans noted in their encounters with them, and each pwca is different. Is their human form even their true 'default'? Probably not. For argument's sake, Sarah is a pwca, and that means she can learn all sorts of animal shapes as she gets better at it.

You transform into rabbit or any region-appropriate small animal for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Targeted, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
Lorenzo sets a pile of $10,000 cash (or equivalent in other currency) on fire. As it burns, gold-green smoke wafts up from the blaze and into the nostrils of Lorenzo and 5 other people, who become immediately very high and full of euphoric bliss.
Spend an Action to activate. Select a number of Living targets equal to your Charisma within arm's reach. You must use up $10000 cash in order to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Alertness at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, for the next hour, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by happiness, joy, euphoria, or bliss. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way. Your own emotions are also shifted in the same way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
Both attacking someone and being attacked will end the Effect.
This Gift's level is capped at 2 Gifts and cannot be increased further.
Valentine and Darlin' have reached a level of understanding so deep that they think and feel in unison. Darlin' replaces all of Valentine's bodily needs and Valentine provides Darlin' with the critical thinking and skill to keep them both alive and prospering.

Darlin' has changed Valentine's lungs, they've changed into two other hearts to allow for their blood to spread nutrients through the body at an accelerated rate.
Darlin' has figured out how to synthesize oxygen and other gases, allowing Valentine to not need to breath.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You no longer require any sleep or air in order to survive.
Instead of food and water, you must consume Big League Chew daily for sustenance. For every day you fail to consume it, you lose a point of Brawn. If your Brawn falls to 0 in this way, you die. Your Brawn is fully restored to normal as soon as you fulfill your dietary needs.
The user simply sees their vision shift to become a bit blurrier, if bloodshot. The rest of the world sees their body fold in from the center, stretches of flesh, sinew, and bone ripping the body into an invisible point before disappearing entirely. Standing directly near the point of disappearance will occasionally result in hearing otherworldly mutters, moans, and flesh contorting.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You phase out of reality for up to 4 Rounds. During this time, you cannot affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.
When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see body folding in on itself with a ringing sound of flesh squelching and bones snapping.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
As undead as a jianshi is, due to their nature of purely devouring the warmth/qi of creatures, they have no working digestive system... no source of energy, no need for food, water, sleep, or air to survive, they are... perpetual until they are slain.

You no longer require any food, water, sleep, or air in order to survive. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement automatically succeeds.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Cotard's syndrome: Believes they are dead, If afflicted any injuries, roll a self control roll to take care of it..
The doctor is a master at surgical transplantation. As long as they have a donor part, they can replace any permanent, lingering battle scars on their patient. Of course, the transplanted part doesn't always match, and the patient must be careful to follow the doctor's aftercare orders, or the replacement will be rejected.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up a donor body part matching the injured area in order to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect. You may specify a specific condition that the patient must adhere to. If they break this condition, the treatment is immediately reversed. Record this regimen as a Condition.
Healing a Battle Scar in this way leaves behind a mismatched replacement on the target which cannot be healed.
The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
The ninja does not approve of guns; they prefer using the bow for its stealth and versatility.

You no longer age naturally, and supernatural attempts to age you fail.

The Severity of any Injury caused by electricity is increased by 2.
The aquamancer has internal reserves of water that they may call upon when needed, and it will gush out of the pores in their skin wherever it is directed.
