You speak the activation phrase into the mirror. You see in the mirror a more whole version of yourself. You can talk to your mirror self about your traumas and bad memories, such that the mirror self knows fully the cause of the trauma.
Then, you must convince your mirror self to take the trauma in your place.
You can also act as an intermediary for others to use the mirror from a distance. The target must share the trauma's, their origin, and the details of it. As you get these details, you see the mirror forms an image of a more whole version of the person you are talking to.
You then convince them to take the trauma for their corresponding mirrored self. You can talk to multiple people at the same / effect all targets with this.
This Mirror was made by Vel by accident, and can't be remade. Waking from a nightmare, Vel ran to the bathroom and vomited. They spent the rest of the night staring into the bathroom mirror, talking about what happened. At some point their power triggered, and the Mirror was given it's ability.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living or Animate target at any distance, provided you are able to communicate. Over the course of one day, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.
Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
You may heal a Trauma on any number of targets with a single activation of this Effect, but any Traumas which you treat are revealed to the entire group.

The Wizard Hat glows briefly and a tiny burst of highly compressed potent flame is launched from the user’s line of sight, bursting outward on contact.
The Wizard Hat exists to serve a single purpose: to grant magic unto those who possess none. It uses the raw imaginative and intellectual processing of its users brains and rapidly transforms that processing away from biological function and maintenance in favor of REAL, TANGIBLE MAGIC!!! The first of its ‘spells’, ‘Fireball’ is barely even a ball. It is more accurately described as a massively-wound string of compressed and potent fire. On contact with a target, it expands. Rapidly. Explosively. You had best stay out of the radius.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location no further than 40 feet from you and in your line of sight. The area within 25 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4.
Damage spreads to targets beyond the edge of the initial radius, decreasing by 2 Damage for every 5 feet traveled.
Any flammable Objects within the radius during the blast will catch fire, and any being who takes at least 4 Damage will catch fire. Starting the Round after they caught fire, flaming targets take 2 Damage per Round until the fire is extinguished.
A small cowrie shell pendant appears on the bracelet, which glows while the barrier is up.
Joe takes a meditative pose and takes a deep breath, during which he establishes his inner peace and then wills it to supernaturally manifest. A nearly invisible spherical barrier appears around him and his friends. The barrier ripples with soft light (like under sunshine through water) when touched by anything, and it splashes and cracks when damaged.
While dangers, chaos, and bad weather are all a part of life, Joe's inner peace is available to all who are (literally) within his inner circle.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. This Effect cannot be used unless you take no Quick Actions, Free Actions, nor minimal Movements while the barrier is up. Roll Intellect + Influence at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 4 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. You may choose to create a bubble barrier. If you do, no physical objects or entities can pass into your bubble until the barrier is broken, but you and the barrier cannot move. Half any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker. They may attempt to Dodge or Defend using a Desperate Defense, and their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.

Azik, holding his book in his hand, flips open to the very first page. Inscribed on it, is a language no one, not even azik can understand, yet he managed to pull together one word. "Protect", with that, letters from the page comes flying out akin to magic, arranging themselves in the air before turning into a protection barrier on the person it is casted upon.
Attested in English since 1530, from Latin prōtēctus (“covered, protected”), past participle of prōtegere (“to cover the front, protect”) from prō, prō- (“before, in front of”) + tegere (“to cover”), see tegument. Displaced native Middle English shelden, from Old English sċildan (“to protect,” literally “to shield”).
A word of benevolence, love, and understanding.

The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when a battle begins, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.
This Effect activates whenever combat begins. It does not require an Action or Exertion.
