Map access Mini maps are a must have!
Using a map, Luminous can pull up a full proper minimap, showing the location of allies, enemy and the likes, and any possible places with a sub quest, special items, and what not!
Spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet You must actively and obviously use A Map to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
- You learn the position of all creatures in range and whether they're neutral, an ally, or a enemy/hostile. (yellow, green, and red respectively)
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.

You learn the following information about the area:
- You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
- You learn how heavily trafficked the area is, what sorts of Animate beings have moved through the area and when.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: paranoia.

Infantrymans Cartography
Mappin out the area
Pulling out his map, it has the pulp action glow to it as it beams a bright light to the user. The map itself is drawing and marks locations of the area and individuals around it in a militaristic style.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute to activate. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet You must actively and obviously use Maps to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Survival at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
- You learn how heavily trafficked the area is, what sorts of creatures have moved through the area and when.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
This must be the place.

You may only use this Effect once per day.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.

The Dungeon map

The wearer places his pencil on the notebook and begins to concentrate. Over time, a map appears on one of the pages of his notebook.
Expend a point of Battery and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
- You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their body and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Battle Scar: Weak stomach. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next day.

Investigate Area Gifts
Scents and Signs
The beastmaster puts their nose to the ground and sniffs about the area. Their feral nostrils tell them what sorts of creatures live in the area, and who lays claim to each region.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet Can only be activated while you are in the wilderness. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Survival at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You can tell which entities lay claim to each part of the area and how these borders have shifted over time.
- You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Set the Scene
The detective pulls out their magnifying glass and investigates the area, learning details about any nearby structures and picking up details on what sorts of beings have passed through and when.

You learn the following information about the area:
- You can tell the age of any structure or natural formation in the area. This includes trees and plants growing in the area.
- You learn how heavily trafficked the area is, what sorts of Animate beings have moved through the area and when.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
