When shot leaves a large green smoke trail with a skull imprint it in, a fiery cannonball comes out in the shape of a flaming skull screaming the sound reminiscient of a aztec death whistle.
This Artifact can be used as a sling. It is roughly at least twice as large as a sling and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.

Allister uses the gear at the top of the box, unveiling the concealed complexity within. The five wooden panels gracefully contort into a mesmerizing floral arrangement, unveiling the near-infinite intricacies of the perpetual clockwork mechanism housed within. Allister adjusts the machine in real-time, adapting it to accommodate the object he intends to insert or extract from the box. this culminates with the machine assembling a bronze sunflower, unfurling to reveal a cavity tailored for the object. the process of dismantling the object is not perfect and can result in damages upon reassembly.
Spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Calibrating the clockwork of the mechanical box. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you The object comes out Mangled, damaged, and unusable. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store Non-Sapient Clockwork animated beings in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside an SUV (4,000 liters), and you may store up to 15 of them at a time.
Animate targets may Resist being stashed.
When the effect is being activated, the earrings start projecting a beam of light that weaves a copy of the user out of golden strings. The copy is about one fifth the size of the user and understands their commands. It can tell the user what it has seen by touching them.
Inti will help devout followers, directly weaving their essence into a helpful scout. Their essence will return to the user should it die. If the scout is alive and the user dies, the scout will try to deliver the earrings to a possible heir the god considers worthy that's nearby.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute.
Summon a single small copy of the user at your location. They will last until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. This Artifact may have at most 1 minion active at a time.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
Bubba plays his music before the crowd, and as he plays, the ones closest to the stage report seeing beautiful, ethereal, individuals of their preferred gender appearing on stage, and dancing with Bubba's music. These individuals have also reported a strong desire to see them again and have reserved tickets for many of Bubba's upcoming shows.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient or Creature target within 20 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, your target will take 2 points of Mind Damage and gains two new Traumas of your choice. The Trauma should be general and not specifically mention you. You should not have to be involved to trigger the Trauma.
these Traumas may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Targets that receive a new Trauma are aware that you are interacting with them but they do not view it as an attack or view the resulting Trauma as malicious. If their Trauma is treated, they will be able to see the reality of the situation.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Obsession with causing the metal apocalypse!. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.
When used, Jet Thrusters built into the suit propel the user into the air.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
As long as you are conscious, you are immune to falling Damage. Additionally, you may glide as you fall, traveling 35 feet horizontally for every 10 feet you fall. While gliding, you fall at a minimum speed of 10 feet per Round.
You may ascend into the air and fly using your Jet thrusters on arms and boots. You require 5 feet of clear space on all sides to fly. You may add 50 feet to Movement you take while flying. If you take more than a Severity 4 Injury to your Jet thrusters on arms and boots via a called shot or Battle Scar, you can only glide until they are healed.
You are subject to the following effects while gliding or flying:
The Scepter of Ang-Kapal is a gruesome device fashioned to look like a skeletal arm clutching a glass eye. When used, blood from the person holding is drawn into the eye where it swirls with dark energy. The eye turns to a nearby corpse and shudders, reviving the creature. The creature does not retain any of its memories or personality, but it is absolutely loyal to whoever is holding the scepter.
The Scepter of Ang Kepal has the unfortunate side effect of driving its owner mad.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach with at least half its skeletal structure remaining. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts for eight hours or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Destroying one of your zombies requires a called shot to the head or heart. All other Injuries zombies suffer result in Battle Scars only, limiting their mobility and effectiveness in other ways.
Your revived targets deal 2 Weapon Damage with their unarmed attacks.
The 255TE "Lancer" Rife fires an extremely deadly spike of plasma at its targets. It comes standard with a volume control, allowing the soldier to mute its normally fearsome lightning crack report for stealth missions. When not in use, it can collapse into a small metal disk that can fit into any utility belt.
This Artifact can be used as a rifle. It is roughly the same size as a rifle but can be collapsed into a metallic disk and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +4 Weapon Damage. The target's Armor is fully effective against this Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
"The Coffin" can only be used to store things commonly found in coffins, such as bodies, clothes, jewelry, photos, weapons, coins, and similar.
This Artifact can be used as a container. It is roughly the same size as a alligator-skin briefcase and just as difficult to conceal. Unless you are storing something commonly found in coffins, this Artifact behaves as its mundane counterpart.
Your alligator-skin briefcase holds 5 times what it normally could. Objects stored inside are weightless.
Living things can be stored in your alligator-skin briefcase. They will have access to anything else inside and may attempt to break free, damaging or destroying the alligator-skin briefcase in the process.
If your alligator-skin briefcase is destroyed, things inside may get out, and it will cease to function until it is repaired.
You may change the type of your container between Contracts.
Only you may open and close the container. Others can still destroy it to get at the contents
The spy can do up their passport to take on the appearance of any valid form of identification they may need.
This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a passport and just as difficult to conceal.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into an Object within the category of forms of identification. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when a battle begins, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.
This Effect activates whenever combat begins. It does not require an Action or Exertion.
You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
