This Artifact can be used as a handgun. It is roughly at least twice as large as a handgun and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.

Possession of this Artifact causes the following Trauma to manifest over the course of a day: "One True Scotsman": When religion is invoked, make a trauma roll to avoid disparaging them and their faith.. If you lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next month.

This odd shield is held with the concave side facing outward, like a bowl for attacks, but normally it´s wilded like any common metal shield. Its material seems metalic and, inside of the "bowl" there lies some runes that seem locked for the moment. On its center, it holds a pearl-like precious stone.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Brawn + Melee at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome + 4 Damage. Any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker, up to a maximum of the Barrier Strength Parameter’s bonus. Their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
When you activate this Effect, roll a single D10. if the result is 5 or lower, you receive a Severity-1 Injury and a Minor Battle Scar.

Spend an Action. Select a target within 20 feet. Roll Dexterity + Firearms at Difficulty 6. The target may contest by Defending or Dodging.
If you succeed, your target will be restricted at their location by a physical, tangible binding. They can still move their arms and use Effects, but cannot move to a new location.
The binding around a target must be destroyed in order for them to break free. Breaking the binding requires a total amount of Damage equal to twice the original Contested Outcome. Damage from multiple attacks is cumulative and stacks linearly.

The user would click on the button as in the blink of an eye the seemingly harmless laser pointer transforms into a Mossberg through a process that can only be described as a sudden flash. Now the user armed with an Enhanced Mossberg 500 can blast holes through his victims much easier than Normal.
This Artifact can be used as a Shotgun. It is roughly the same size as a Shotgun but can be collapsed into A small laser pointer shaped item with a button on one end. and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Free Action.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal 2 Weapon Damage +3 Bonus Damage. The target's Armor is reduced to 1/2, rounded up against this damage.
Possession of this Artifact causes the following Battle Scar to manifest over the course of a day: The Users face has a quarter of it missing. Appearing as if it was blown off by a shotgun yet somehow seared over. This doesn’t inhibit the user physically but the initial creation of this scar was rather painful.. If you lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next month.
