This Artifact grants you the power to detect all nearby beings who intend you harm.

This charm typically comes on a necklace or bracelet of some kind, potentially with other consumable rune charms. When an enemy approaches in an otherwise calm situation it becomes noticeably warm to the user, imbuing them with instinctive knowledge on their relative location. If one is feeling exceptionally threatened, one can trace the pattern of the rune for several seconds while chanting the words engraved on the obverse of the charm (exact words may vary depending on who the charm was made for), channeling the energy within it to activate its full detection and reveal the locations of all enemies for the next hour. Overuse, however may strain the mind and lead to paranoid or unhinged thoughts patterns.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Trace the lines of the runic design while reciting the words inscribed on the obverse of the charm three times. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.

You automatically detect all beings who intend you harm within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no beings who intend you harm targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Pressing on abbas temple then gripping his chest where is heart is holding his necklace to it. You must actively and obviously use animal teeth necklace to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Alien Predators and Man-Eaters within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no Alien Predators or Man-Eaters targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Knocks on a mirror twice and says “Mirror Mirror who should I fear”. You must actively and obviously use An object with a reflective surface to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Those that Have searched for Them and Those that are searching for Them within 1 mile of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no Those that Have searched for Them or Those that are searching for Them targets are within 1 mile of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Even if there are no Those that Have searched for Them or Those that are searching for Them within 1 mile of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

You receive A Glimpse of their Face for each being you detect.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Electroreception: You may detect electromagnetic fields, electric currents, and even neurological activity in a 25 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting neurological activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.
  • Thermal: You are able to "see" heat signatures up to 50 feet away.

  • When you are within 25 feet of range, your electroreception sense is sufficient for aiming.
  • Your thermal vision allows you to judge temperatures of surfaces fairly accurately as long as they are within livable temperatures.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use Hat to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all Supernatural being within 50 feet of you for the next minute. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, and you have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected beings. This information is accurate enough to use for aiming at them, at +1 Difficulty.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any Supernatural being come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You automatically detect all Criminals within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

Stock Detect Beings Gifts

This Effect activates whenever combat begins. It does not require an Action or Exertion.

You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
