This Artifact grants you the power to detect all nearby beings who intend you harm.

This charm typically comes on a necklace or bracelet of some kind, potentially with other consumable rune charms. When an enemy approaches in an otherwise calm situation it becomes noticeably warm to the user, imbuing them with instinctive knowledge on their relative location. If one is feeling exceptionally threatened, one can trace the pattern of the rune for several seconds while chanting the words engraved on the obverse of the charm (exact words may vary depending on who the charm was made for), channeling the energy within it to activate its full detection and reveal the locations of all enemies for the next hour. Overuse, however may strain the mind and lead to paranoid or unhinged thoughts patterns.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Trace the lines of the runic design while reciting the words inscribed on the obverse of the charm. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.

You automatically detect all beings who intend you harm within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no beings who intend you harm targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action.

You automatically detect the closest of any Someone you Speak the name of aloud to the GPS within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction and distance.

Even if there are no Someone you Speak the name of aloud to the GPS within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

Any Someone you Speak the name of aloud to the GPS detected while the effect is active are “marked”. You will continue to detect them until the effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the effect ends, so long as they remain within 50 feet of you.

  • Any targets that are marked satisfy the line of sight requirement for targeted Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Chanting in latin and hand signs. You must use up Hand Written Prayers in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Man eating monsters within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no Man eating monsters targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

You automatically detect all robots and humans within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

You automatically detect all Wet Beings, Alien Beings, and Elementals and Lost Puddlings within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

Even if there are no Wet Beings, Alien Beings, and Elementals or Lost Puddlings within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up s smoking object in order to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all descendants of the alchemists within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no descendants of the alchemists targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Even if there are no descendants of the alchemists within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

This Effect is obviously Alien and eye-catching across its range to those witnessing it, and you are obviously the source.
