Liberal application of physical force proves that it is very hard to keep you in, or out, of somewhere you want to be.
Spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Beating the snot out of the locking mechanism until it breaks. Select a Non-Alien door, container, knot, or lock within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless you destroy the lock. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open your target.
If you successfully operate a lock, you may choose to destroy it, rendering it inoperable.
The user inserts 2 American $1 coins into the slot on the radio, which disappears in a quick second as the slot dimly, briefly glows green. The radio begins to spit out quiet static, as the user sees through their clouded eyes the memory of the target.
The target experiences the wandering dead spirits of the world accepting their offer of currency, and showing them a memory they have witnessed in the world in exchange.
David, while repairing the Thomas Edison Spirit Cellphone, managed to reverse engineer some of its more…unique components. He even found a small manual hidden inside, which described that, according to Spectrum S, wandering spirits in the world can make a great fuel source. David was disgusted at this discovery, and wondered what would happen if one instead offered them a coin of value for their troubles and aid, the way the Greeks did in the days of old. A modern day way of giving them Charon’s obol. So he set about constructing the Spirit Box, and soon the wandering spirits of the world became aware of his offer of coin.
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Select a Living, Animate target within 300 feet You must use up 2 American $1 coins in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while the effect is active. Roll Perception + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
You are able to view your target's memories. The target is unaware their memories are being probed. The Effect ends if the target moves out of range or your Concentration is interrupted.
You may ask specific questions about their memory - “what is their computer password,” “What were they doing at 4:00PM yesterday,” etc - but you cannot get answers to broad, analytical questions like “are they a good person?” or “what are their plans for the future?”
Each question takes as long as it takes to answer to read. When replaying a full memory, it is replayed in double time.
The power of the spoken word is awe inspiring, and to those who need Saving, the voice of God can hit you right in the feels
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a number of Living targets equal to your Charisma within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6 -3 dice.
If you succeed, for the next hour, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by Peacefully calm.. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
When your target interacts with any valid target, they must roll Self-Control or be swept up in the same emotion. New targets pass it on as well, and so on, with the remaining duration decreasing by half until the chain stops.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is quotes scripture. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
If any affected target takes or deals Damage, this Effect ends.
For a short moment, the handgun Smoldep wields glitches into a spectral neon grenade launcher as she rapid fires shots with glee, the murderous intent gleaming through her eyes. When the grenades go off, she revels in the literal bloodshed as comical amounts of blood and gore explode from the blast radius, the victims seeming like they’ve been hit by a mini-nuke. Smoldep cheerfully licks blood off her face.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location no further than 40 feet from you and in your line of sight. You must actively and obviously use a handgun to activate this Effect. The area within 25 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Dexterity + Firearms at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4.
Any flammable Objects within the radius during the blast will catch fire, and any being who takes at least 4 Damage will catch fire. Starting the Round after they caught fire, flaming targets take 2 Damage per Round until the fire is extinguished.
If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see it gorily overkill everything in sight as Smoldep grins.
The user touches the target with the ring, and the target's skin begins to shimmer with a faint red hue.
Spend an Action. Select a Animate target within arm's reach. Roll Brawn + Alertness at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around your target, which absorbs the next Outcome + 4 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
The barrier will fall after two hours, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute to activate.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open any number of doors, locks, or locked targets within 20 feet of you. Cannot be used on Alien technology.
You can open and close doors which are already unlocked at your full range with no Exertion cost.

After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location which is at most 75 feet away horizontally or 15 feet away vertically. This Effect cannot be used unless you are in werewolf form.
You jump to the chosen location. If the landing is precarious, the GM may call for a roll to land safely. You will never take fall damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
You may opt to trade your free movement for a Super Leap if you are jumping less than 50 feet or if you are closing a gap to an opponent and spend your Action on an attack.
Perform the Five Point Technique via a series of quick pressure point hits on the target’s chest. As you do, channel your chi and speak a condition involving the number five. If the target cannot stop you from performing the technique, their heart will take a direct hit when they fulfill the chosen condition.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Roll Dexterity + Brawl Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. The target's material Armor is completely ignored.
When you activate this Effect, instead of occurring immediately, you may choose to delay its effects until the target takes a particular Action. For example: "when they fire a gun" or "when they swim in deep water."
Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.
The Vampire is able to turn one of their victims into a lesser vampire, a pale shadow of a full creature of the night but useful nonetheless. Having drained and killed their target, the Vampire performs a brief ritualistic bloodletting, wherein they spill their own blood into the target's mouth, forcing them to drink, and bonding them together as child and sire.
Shortly afterwards, the fledgling vampire will rise from death, hungry for blood and eager to serve.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach that has died within the last hour. This Effect cannot be used unless you drained the target's blood while they were still alive.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion. The raised creature must consume flesh every day or it will die again.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Your revived targets deal 2 Weapon Damage with their unarmed attacks.
The mystic enters a meditation while focusing on a remote location. A glowing sigil of an eye appears on their forehead, and a ghostly image of themselves meditating appears at the location they are envisioning. For a brief period, they may see the area they are projecting to as though they were standing there.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target Location within 75 feet.
You may perceive things as if you were standing at that Location. The effect lasts indefinitely but you must maintain Concentration to keep it up. You cannot perceive anything at your physical location while the effect is active.
You create a visible manifestation at the Location where your senses are projected which looks like a ghostly image of yourself meditating.
The Necromancer spits into the mouth of a recently deceased corpse. For the few minutes, the corpse's head comes back to life and speaks to the Necromancer.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within arm's reach. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
