If targeting self, Lod's mental psyche wraps around the specific injury, there is no glow or outwardly effect on any plane of existence that would show that this ability is in use, except for the tell for this ability.
If target someone other than self, then Lod's mental psyche wraps around that specific injury, in a manner in which there is no glow or outwardly effect on any plane of existence that would show that this ability is in use, except for the tell for this ability.
After Lod's third contractor, he understood what he was missing. As a doctor, he has the power to heal, but if that knowledge was used in conjunction with a real healing superpower? In that case, he could help his patients to an even greater degree, not to mention himself and his fellow Contractors.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is Lifting my ring ringer and waving it in a 30 degree arc from right to left. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Delusions of Grandeur: You believe yourself to be the very best, one of the elite, superior to anyone else you meet..
The punk opens their hand and moves their fingers slightly as invisible strings attach themselves to their target and begin transmitting a command.
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Select a Device within 20 feet. Does not work on Alien technology. You must actively and obviously use an electronic device to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.
When targeting non-computer devices, you may operate switches, buttons, dials, levers, and latches.
Every hack you make leaves behind a partially-filled loading logo in the system as a personal "calling card" that informs anyone who uses the system that the hack occurred.
Evan puts his mask on and throws two vials of green liquid onto the ground creating a chemical reaction and a cloud of gas released via a chemical reaction.
Use up this vial and spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within 20 feet. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, penalty does not apply. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes one of the following symptoms:
The affliction can be diagnosed with a Medicine roll, and may be cured by modern medicine through treatment at a fully equipped facility. Treatment outside of a facility may stop the affliction from worsening for a day, but will not cure the underlying Condition.
Any Scars, Traumas, or Injuries caused by your symptoms cannot be healed until the underlying Condition is cured.
Bark and stem graft themselves to the edges of the wound and replace what was once there recovering its function.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.

Day copies a glyph of "sooth mind" from her Grimoire onto the head of her patient, the upper ring of the glyph includes details about the Trauma, when it was recieved and how (in runic form). The lower ring of the glyph is the upper ring, written in reverse. Over the downtime, the rings slowly twist into each other, with each rune self-destructing with its negative form. When the last rune self-annihilates with its negative version, the mental trauma is healed.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Over the course of one Downtime, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
Once per day per target, you may choose to use this Effect to stabilize the Mind of a target within arm's reach. Treatment takes 30 seconds but will not remove any Traumas. If you are successful, restore 2 Mind damage.
Have you ever seen a seven and a half foot werewolf kick down a door?
Well, now you have.
In a pinch, Emily can use her paws, but there's not quite the same feeling as just booting a door down.
Of course, hitting something that hard is outside of the spec sheets Gen-Wyld has given her.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend an Action. Select a door, container, knot, or lock within arm's reach. This can be used on Alien targets.

The Scepter of Ang-Kapal is a gruesome device fashioned to look like a skeletal arm clutching a glass eye. When used, blood from the person holding is drawn into the eye where it swirls with dark energy. The eye turns to a nearby corpse and shudders, reviving the creature. The creature does not retain any of its memories or personality, but it is absolutely loyal to whoever is holding the scepter.
The Scepter of Ang Kepal has the unfortunate side effect of driving its owner mad.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach with at least half its skeletal structure remaining. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts for eight hours or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Destroying one of your zombies requires a called shot to the head or heart. All other Injuries zombies suffer result in Battle Scars only, limiting their mobility and effectiveness in other ways.
Your revived targets deal 2 Weapon Damage with their unarmed attacks.
The doctor is a master at surgical transplantation. As long as they have a donor part, they can replace any permanent, lingering battle scars on their patient. Of course, the transplanted part doesn't always match, and the patient must be careful to follow the doctor's aftercare orders, or the replacement will be rejected.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up a donor body part matching the injured area in order to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.

The mobster presents a reasoned, logical case to the target: there's a lot of dangerous folks out there, and only they can offer safety... for a price.
If they agree, they will pay the mobster a monthly fee for protection. If they stop making their payments... well, let's just say, the mobster can't be held responsible for any unsavory types that might pay them a visit.
This Effect cannot be used unless you are making a deal to exchange money for protection.
You may make an oath with a physically-present, Sapient target. Communicate the oath's terms to the target, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must shake hands to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The target cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the target, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
The pyro points a laser pointer towards a target, and a cat-sized-and-shaped fire springs into life, very clearly attracted to the laser. This flame cat can also be shaped from existing fires. While the pointer is active it remains in the shape of a cat, pouncing towards the little red dot. When the laser pointer is not active, the flames return to normal.
