A swarm of nanotech bugs are released all over the body, crawling across skin and infesting damaged areas. These tiny robots latch onto any physical wounds, stitching flesh and injecting anti-infective substances directly into the bloodstream. Once their gruesome work is done, the nanobots deactivate, breaking down and either being absorbed into the body's systems or excreted.
