Anyone will tell you, the mind is the master of healing. Essentially, he convinces them they are fine and their own body makes it so- releasing hormones and things that accellerate the healing process.
He gives the target a heated pep talk, grabbing, dragging, or crying loudly while shaking them encouragingly. "You can't leave me like this you can beat this I know it! We're a team!"
If he genuinely would not miss them, it may not work. He can do the same thing to himself, looking at his reflexion or talking to himself heatedly. Its an intense pep talk nonetheless, sometimes involving slapping himself in the face or pouring water on himself, etc.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome, unless it had Severity 4 or higher, in which case its Severity remains the same. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain. You may specify a specific condition that the patient must adhere to. If they break this condition, the treatment is immediately reversed. Record this regimen as a Condition.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is He physically grabs them and gives them a heated pep talk.. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

The Contractor would flip the back of the cellphone and pop the cover door open, revealing the slot for a good sized battery, that he just replaces with a new one. The door is closed as he would quickly boot it up and start to use it, the screen glowing yellow as it connects to the nearby device, the screen going dimmer and dimmer until finally the hack is complete.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Device within 300 feet. Does not work on Alien technology. You must use up Batteries in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.
Your command does not have to take effect immediately. Instead, upon a successful Hack, you may specify a condition under which the specified command is issued or simply suspend the Command until you desire to activate it.
If your command does not require bypassing the security of the target (for example, typing on a computer that is unlocked), you do not need to Exert your Mind to activate this Effect, and activation only takes a single Action.
Your Hack cannot be reversed through mundane means for a number of hours equal to your Outcome.
When targeting non-computer devices, you may operate switches, buttons, dials, levers, and latches.
Every hack you make leaves behind Glowing Yellow Screen in the system as a personal "calling card" that informs anyone who uses the system that the hack occurred.
The one using this effect must open up the book and state the target and desired change they wish to make. The book's pages then begin to rapidly turn before finally stopping on a page, this page details how to correctly preform the desired procedure, The Steps to complete the procedure are gruesome requiring the user to user to perform a vivisection on the target utilizing their bare hands, After the target has been opened up, the user must then continue following the instructions to perform a necromantic ritual on the target, fusing and grafting the targets flesh with a tar like substance that completely consumes the subject. After a short period of time the Tar is absorbed into the subject, and they are made anew. If The target is an undead the procedure is much simpler to complete with the one using it, this is due to the decreased effort needed to complete the ritual
Exert your Mind (unless target is undead) and spend eight hours. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:

This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.

He sits and concentrates as he lights a few candles. He reaches through the aether to speak with those that need him.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Animate target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use a watch or clock to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Science at Difficulty 7.

This alteration lasts one minute but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 6 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. See the extended system text for GM guidance on various tools.
The mobster presents a reasoned, logical case to the target: there's a lot of dangerous folks out there, and only they can offer safety... for a price.
If they agree, they will pay the mobster a monthly fee for protection. If they stop making their payments... well, let's just say, the mobster can't be held responsible for any unsavory types that might pay them a visit.
This Effect cannot be used unless you are making a deal to exchange money for protection.
You may make an oath with a physically-present, Sapient target. Communicate the oath's terms to the target, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must shake hands to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The target cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the target, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
Once the werewolf tastes the blood of their prey, there's no escape. Those injured by the beast's claws and teeth are marked with its saliva. Their wounds smell strongly of blood, and it's only a matter of time before the werewolf returns with a vengeance to finish the kill.
