With just a flick of a lighter something (or someone) flammable in the vicinity of the user immediately catches on fire. Wherever the lighter points the flame follows, leaving behind a charred trail.
Exert your Mind (only for extinguishing a fire, no cost for starting one) and spend an Action. Select a target within 20 feet which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire). You must actively and obviously use Lighter to activate this Effect. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour.
You may start or extinguish a fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace at your target. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 3 Damage each Round on your turn, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be depleted by any Damage dealt, destroying the Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
You may spend a Free Action on your initiative move a fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace that is within 20 feet to another location within 20 feet. You may Exert your Mind to draw a line which a fire up to twice as large as a fire in a residential fireplace cannot cross.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat. You must actively and obviously be using bowtie to gain the benefits of this Effect.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +2 Weapon Damage (instead of -1).
You may Defend against melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks from any range and Clash with those in range of your Attacks. Attacking materials like steel or spikes will not Damage you unless it has an Effect that does so.
You also gain the following effects:

Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Shinny within arm's reach. You cannot investigate the same target more than once per hour. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Influence at Difficulty 6.

i raise my staff and a beam goes to the targeted spot. when the beam arrives at the spot (at very fast speeds) a big explosion happens at a large radius
Exert your Mind and spend 30 seconds to trap a region of any shape that contains your current location and fits entirely no further than 40 feet from you and in your line of sight. This trap lasts one day or until triggered or disarmed. You must actively and obviously use staff to activate this Effect. The area within 25 feet of the trap immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Anyone in the area has 1 Round to attempt to escape. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. Record your Outcome to use when the trap is triggered.
The trap looks like ITS NOT A FUCKING TRAP ITS A SPELL I CAST IT. It can only be spotted as a trap by those with preexisting knowledge of such traps. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.
Any target
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of the trap with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Damage spreads to targets beyond the edge of the initial radius, decreasing by 2 Damage for every 5 feet traveled.
With a soft whisper the user imprints insecurities onto the target. Failure, torture, death. It taps into their memories and draws from it the parts they repressed and turns them into nightmares that continue to haunt them.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is asleep. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Roll Intellect+Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes Mind damage equal to the Contested Outcome. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target will gain Nightmares as a Trauma. This trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy as per normal rules. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
When you activate this Effect, instead of occurring immediately, you may choose to delay its effects until the target takes a particular Action. For example: "when they fire a gun" or "when they swim in deep water."
Wren does not seem to react to the wounds on her body, aside from how they might interfere with her motion.
Wren's soul is kept by Hades already, and is free from the pains of her new un-life. Apollo's curse makes sure that pain is felt whenever his chariot can see her below, however.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are out of direct sunlight.
Your Stress from Injuries and Mind Damage is reduced to 0.
This witch is a cruel and vengeful creature who works her vile arts against those she deems worthy of punishment. All she must do is point. A flash of green lightning strikes her victim and disappears. Immediately, or upon the completion of some condition, if the witch chooses, the victim's body warps and shifts into a gross mockery of its former self. Whether she's giving someone the head of a donkey or stealing their voice, the witch's enemies always get what is coming to them.
The sheer wickedness of this spell corrupts the witch, giving her a disgusting, witchy appearance.
Exert your Mind and Spend an Action. Select a Living target within 20 feet. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may roll Body, -2 dice at Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target receives a new Battle Scar of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Compulsion for payback. You must roll Self-Control to avoid using this Gift on anyone who wrongs you in a major way.
The beastmaster shouts, and their human voice cracks into a deep, bestial roar. Their body swells with muscle, clothes melting into a thick pelt of fur. Seconds later the beastmaster is gone. Standing in their place is a massive grizzly bear.
However, even in human form the beast within remains close to the surface, and the beastmaster finds highly civilized social situations unbearable.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You transform into a brown bear for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Direct, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Intolerance for society. When you are in a situation with strict social protocols (like a trial or a formal dinner) roll Self-Control not to enter a flight or fight response.
The pyro points a laser pointer towards a target, and a cat-sized-and-shaped fire springs into life, very clearly attracted to the laser. This flame cat can also be shaped from existing fires. While the pointer is active it remains in the shape of a cat, pouncing towards the little red dot. When the laser pointer is not active, the flames return to normal.
