The user folds their arm or appendage in on itself, creating tension, and that tension is then released in an explosive strike with a rapid decompression causing the limb to stretch further than normal.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you lose all tension from the punch as it targets a random ally, including yourself. (Roll a die to determine new target). Roll Brawn + Brawl Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this Damage.
Any Injury inflicted is considered unstabilized even if its Severity is less than 4. The equipment and roll required to Stabilize it is treated as though it is a minimum of Severity 6.
If the target receives an Injury, they are knocked back 5 * Severity feet.
If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see your body stretch and compress at extreme speeds.
She seems to glide just above the ground leaving a trail of blue energy behind her

When an ally is about to be hit, Sketch can't look away, and a wave of energy escapes them, coalescing as a glowing green gold shield around their ally.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction to activate. Select a Animate target within 20 feet. You cannot target yourself. Roll Perception + Influence at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around your target, which absorbs the next Outcome Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
Harold grinds his teeth and focuses his mind inward, finding the outside presence tampering with his thoughts. Then, he simply removes it.
Some philosophers argue that your personal identity is based upon your mind, not your body or soul. Subscribers to this idea have no concern for their body or some sort of post-physical soul being destroyed. Instead, they are concerned only with continuing their stream of thought and preventing it from being tampered. Protecting your body from harm is just a means to a end, a means towards protecting ones mind from deteriorating.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You get +2 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
In a harbor warehouse, screams and gunshots thunder throughout the morning chill. Inside a man crashes in a tower of wooden crates, bones shattered like glass under the weight of them. Another man is sprawled on the ground, his back bent inwards while his mangled arms rope around his neck. Around lay a dozen man all mangled, bleeding on the ground like rabid dogs. A lone survivor was all that remain, picked up by the throat as the gun in his hand was crushed by a fist larger than his , not even a scream can make it out of his strained trachea. Then a hand gripped his mandibles and the other that grasped his throat now hinged itself onto his upper maw. Slowly the hands pulled away , the mandible and the maw slowly being ripped apart as the splitting scream and sound of ripping tissue play in harmony.

The priest channels their true faith into a brutal assault on the consciousness of demonic or unholy creatures. By wielding their favored holy symbol, a gilded crucifix, they can put a proper fear of god into them, leaving them cowering at any truly holy things they encounter.
Exert your Mind (unless you have been recently attacked by your target) and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead, demonic, or another evil creature. You must actively and obviously use a gilded cross to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes Mind damage equal to the Contested Outcome. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target will gain a phobia of holy things as a Trauma. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
The werewolf unleashes their inner beast, transforming into an imposing hybrid of human and wolf. Their head reforms into that of a wolf, robbing them of speech but bestowing a maw of deadly fangs. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1 and your Dexterity is increased by 1. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -2).
Your alternate form renders you unable to speak any human language and incapable of fine object manipulation. You can only hold or grasp objects in a crude, clumsy way.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
While transformed, you automatically fail any Mind roll to resist an impulse and suffer -3 dice on all other Mind rolls.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Whenever you are struck by the light of a full or gibbous moon, you must roll Self-Control to resist transforming. Triggers a max of once per night.
