As Joshua gets into combat, his body starts to slightly convulse, morph into a creature; his bones rearranging in order to proper shape the new look, his skin stretching to make new skin folds for the flightless wings, his horrifying physique standing taller than he originally was, and overall a creature designed for terror and death.
Exert your Mind and spend a Quick Action.
You transform into a Vargheist for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a Vargheist, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -1).
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see his body rip and morph, bones cracking in order to place properly to fit the new shape.
Whenever you enter Combat, roll Self-Control. If you fail, you cannot choose which targets to attack and cannot stop fighting until there are no targets remaining.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
Clowning's left an impact on Mort, more than he'd like to admit. In an instant, his nose begins to grow slightly, turning a bright red as the target is trapped within their own mind for a few brief seconds. Flashes of an Eldritch Clown Abomination flash through their mind.. along with the knowledge that maybe any clown could become such a creature.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.
If they fail, your target will take 1 point of Mind damage and gain Fear of Clowns as a Trauma. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
Dai "Fantasio" Valentino can create an illusion of any object or person he has seen. This illusion tricks all five senses.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Choose an illusion to generate, which can be no larger than an SUV.
The chosen illusion is generated at your target, and it will remain in place for the next minute or you choose to end it. It can be perceived by people through their taste, touch, hearing, smell, and sight. The illusion cannot be used as an attack. You may create a replica of a specific being or Object, though it is still limited by what you do or do not know about the subject.
Anyone who struggles against the illusion hard enough to break a window or who would be damaged by the illusion (or who would be able to perceive it significantly through a sense it cannot fool) realizes it is an illusion, and the entire effect will be ended for all targets.
The illusion will remain fixed to its initial target, and can only change locations if the initial target is mobile in some way. It may have moving parts and engage in simple, predetermined movements but cannot perform anything complex or interactive unless you maintain Concentration and “puppeteer” it.
Eric grabs one of his many different vials that are on his belt, he then breaks the seal by squeezing the vial until it shatters, releasing the contents inside, the toxic substance seems to move and flow as though following his will. Eric then points at the target and the substance shoots out like a dart too then envelop part of the targets body, while the substance is on them a hissing sound can be heard as the toxin eats away at the very idea of what it has hit.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. Select a target within 300 feet. You must use up vial of a toxic substance in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Crafts Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 2. Armor is fully effective against this Damage.
You may use this Effect to Defend against any melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks within range or Clash against any Attack targeted at you. Using it to Defend deals no Damage but does not cost Exertion.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.
If the target suffers an Injury from this Effect, they will receive at least a Minor Battle Scar regardless of its Severity. When this Effect causes a Battle Scar, you may select which one of the appropriate level.
Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.

The Ghoul bites into the object or structure, jaws distending to consume a 5 liter portion - steaming blood drips from the jaws as this clearly painful process occurs - every once in a while, an object is too tough for the digestion, & this effect fails with audible popping of jaw ligaments & cracking of teeth.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Object or Construct Object or piece of an Object or structure within arm's reach no larger than a purse (5 liters). Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you break your jaw. Roll Brawn + Brawl Difficulty 6. Sapient targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8.
If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the target will be completely destroyed and can no longer function, though it may still be repaired. If your Outcome is less than 4, the target will be partially damaged, and any attempts to use it will suffer a dice penalty equal to your Outcome.
When activating this Effect, you may spend an extra minute and maintain Concentration. If you do, it has no Exertion cost, and you may destroy an object which has up to 3x larger dimensions, or up to 27x larger volume than the normal maximum size.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see his jaws distend, crack, & drip steaming ichor as he bites into the object.
