A brown potion. Standard tiny glass material. The most common use is to throw a potion of sickness at the target and let the enervating effects take place.
The cursed variant backfires and makes you sick instead.
Spend an Action and use up this potion. Select a Living target within 25 feet. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you gain the Migraines battle scar. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes one of the following symptoms:
The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by drinking fruit juice.
The caster comes to gripes with using the souls of the damnned as fuel for hellflame; before incarnating them as searing-hot fireballs in the shape of suffering souls upon their enemies!
On a -1 Botch; Self-Ignition.
On a -2 Botch, Self-Ignition, anyone within 10 feet will also ignite (Dodge or Defense roll)
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. Select a target within 300 feet which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire). This Effect cannot be used unless it is made as an attack roll; Intellect + Occult. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect.
You may start a new fire as large as a Christmas tree fire at your target. You may create fires the size of a lighter or candle flame without Exerting your Mind. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 5 Damage per Round, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be depleted by any Damage dealt, destroying the Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see flames formed out of the burning souls of the denizens of hell; screaming out and consuming that which he casts apon..
Your eyes narrow, and you hear blood rushing in your ears. Bile and excitement rise up in your chest as you desperately plead with the most high power, to just this once... Destroy everything and everyone and leave no traces.
The targeted area begins to buzz with static - and if you were there - you could swear you could hear a pleading hymn through the interference.
It explodes. It burns. It is gone.
Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Location no further than 40 feet from you and in your line of sight. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. The area within 25 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Any flammable Objects within the radius during the blast will catch fire, and any being who takes at least 4 Damage will catch fire. Starting the Round after they caught fire, flaming targets take 2 Damage per Round until the fire is extinguished.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: You feel hypnotized by fire and destruction. You must roll self control to come back to yourself.
Harry must use the tool (Usually Uncle George's multitool, or the runed nib on the Scribe's Favor) to mark the same bindrune onto an object. This takes him about 30 seconds. At the end, he focuses his mind to infuse the new rune precisely with power and intent and it begins to faintly glow. If he has carved and infused the rune properly it will become a natural part of the object (embossed, stamped, or part of the design of the paint or finish, but appearing as though it belongs) and the object will be restored to a proper state and functionality. Failure will see the rune harmlessly spark out and remain a crude carving.
Spend 10 Rounds. Select a Object within arm's reach that is no larger than an SUV. You may target Alien technology, so long as you have an understanding of its intended function. When repairing Alien targets, you must Exert your Mind. You must actively and obviously use a tool marked with the bindrune he uses to repair to activate this Effect. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll Dexterity + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach. Roll Brawn + Athletics Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.

You may send a single message to your target. It can be no more complicated than a multi-page letter or a long email.
The message will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is your left hand making a fist. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

The priest channels their true faith into a brutal assault on the consciousness of demonic or unholy creatures. By wielding their favored holy symbol, a gilded crucifix, they can put a proper fear of god into them, leaving them cowering at any truly holy things they encounter.
Exert your Mind (unless you have been recently attacked by your target) and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead, demonic, or another evil creature. You must actively and obviously use a gilded cross to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes Mind damage equal to the Contested Outcome. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target will gain a phobia of holy things as a Trauma. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
The mobster presents a reasoned, logical case to the target: there's a lot of dangerous folks out there, and only they can offer safety... for a price.
If they agree, they will pay the mobster a monthly fee for protection. If they stop making their payments... well, let's just say, the mobster can't be held responsible for any unsavory types that might pay them a visit.
This Effect cannot be used unless you are making a deal to exchange money for protection.
You may make an oath with a physically-present, Sapient target. Communicate the oath's terms to the target, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must shake hands to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The target cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the target, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
