Rei channels their internal energies into a jade gemstone and chants the incantations necessary to cast a hard-light barrier surrounding their body. When damaged, the barrier crackles and retaliates against the attack before reshaping into its protective form.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: focusing energy through the jade and incantations to cast the spell. You must actively and obviously use a jade gemstone to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome + 6 Damage. Any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker, up to a maximum of the Barrier Strength Parameter’s bonus. Their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds. As long as it does not fall, the barrier regenerates back to full strength at the end of each Round of combat.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use Sunglasses to activate this Effect.

A psychic cry rings out as a shimmering translucent orb envelopes them and they cease to exist for a brief moment. In the deep primal resseces of your mind you know this shouldn't exist and it takes all of your mental fortitude not to run as far away as you can.

When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see The Void energy that is called forth is depply unsettling to beings from the mortal plane. They know at some fundemental level that this energy doesn't belong here..

Use up this Bottle of Beer and spend 1 minute to activate. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Brawn + Athletics at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
